This place has the best coffee in the area. I came in one day and wanted something with sugar free syrup. The baristas working that day were extremely friendly and helped in explaining the different options and giving suggestions. They definitely made my day. I ended up getting the sugar free vanilla latte and they told me they could sweeten it with stevia so I got that. my boyfriend ordered the caramel vanilla latte. The caramel vanilla was amazing. Good amount of sweetness and flavor is great. He keeps wanting to come back for another. The sugar free vanilla blew my mind. I was shocked that a sugar free syrup could taste so natural and good. Whenever I get the sugar free vanilla Starbucks syrup I'm disappointed and feel like you can taste the artificial sweetener but I was told they make their own syrups at conscious cup and they definitely do it well!! The best sugar free latte I've ever had.
The only reason I am giving them 4 stars is an experience I had a few days later (we've had quite a few visits in the past week because they're just that good). We ordered the usual, and when I asked them to add stevia, the barista that day pointed to the napkin/sweetener bar and said they had sweetener over there. That really upset me because it's not that hard to open up a pack of stevia and dump it in my coffee. When they make the lattes, they pour the espresso, milk and ice back and forth into cups to mix it and it would've been nice to have my sweetener mixed up with that process. I had to go get a packet of sweetener, undo the lid, pour it in, and then get a coffee stirrer to try to mix it all in without spilling my coffee over the top. Very disappointed...
Read moreBy far, my ALL-TIME favorite coffee shop! Since my husband & I travel / are on-the-move with our jobs often, we've made a fun tradition of going to different little local coffee shops together! Honestly, we found Cook Street Coffee by happenchance. But hey! I was so impressed that I actually started working here 3-5 times a week these past few weeks (perks of working remotely). I drive about 30 minutes, but it's totally worth it!
My favorite drink is the honey latte (made with local honey) and oat milk! I enjoy bringing in my own personal cup & sipping local. I am also a HUGE customer service person! It is soooo important to me, as it is one of the most important aspects of my own / any business. I know that just ONE experience alone can keep a customer coming back or not at all.
I have witnessed the manager, Tim, interact with so many customers and even his employees. His leadership & kindness & intentionality has been really impressive to see! I give my FIVE STARS for the quality of their coffee + effectiveness of their management + sweet employees + all-around amazing customer service /...
Read moreFirst off the espresso here is excellent. I love it. Their espresso is high quality and wonderful no doubt about it. The store is also beautiful.
However I am trying to figure out the pricing here. A large Iced Americano with 4 shots is $6.25. (Iced americano is espresso shots mixed with ice and water.)
An iced quad espresso (4 shots espresso directly over ice, no water) oddly increases price to $7.05.
4 shots of espresso over ice for $7.05? This exact same beverage is $4.20 including tax at Starbucks. Before you crush me I am not comparing one coffee to another. I like both coffees. But paying almost double the cost here verses Starbucks for 4 espresso shots over ice will sadly reduce my visits here.
Update 04/21/23: I made the mistake of coming back in here a few times and now I'm addicted to this place. I've told myself to man up and just work harder so I can earn more money to continue supporting my addiction here. Stars upgraded to 4. Would do 4.75 if I could. Staff is...
