Rosati’s Pizza and Sports Pub — Restaurant in Barrington Township

As many as times have I been to Chicago, I've actually never ordered pizza. I finally had to do that!! Giving this restaurant my first chance. I ordered the Chicago-style pizza and the little nuggets. I forgot to order the cannolis. I'm very upset about that, but in the end, that is my fault. We're in Chicago visiting friends having a good time why not get Chicago-style pizza. I had mine actually delivered to the hotel. Just too exhausted from our days. So they let me know on the phone that the Chicago-style pizza would take about 45 minutes, no problem I was cool with waiting. Exactly 45 minutes go by, I head down to the lobby way too short a few minutes and sure enough my pizza was here. Extremely fresh right out of the oven rush it to the room open it up. Look beautiful by the way! Love me a good classic looking pizza. Smelt amazing on the elevator everybody knew what I had they definitely wanted to order some as well. Let me start by saying that this would usually be a 100+ star rating, usually, until Sunday 3/10. Sat down, ordered my drink (a menu "special") & glass of water for my wife (who would have a bloody mary if she didn't find something else she wanted to try). Got the water, ordered our cheese sticks & got them, still no drink. Asked the bartender (after he had refilled the other 4 guests) about my drink & he was "working on it". I decided to go drop a 20 in the slots & take a breath. LO & BEHOLD my drink was ready, and our pizza order was in upon my return. I get that the Godfather may take extra time but should the guy next to me get his pie first? I mean it did come out in the pan although he, like us, asked for it to-go. I will actually come back here again as anyone can have a bad day and this was just one bad visit.

OH and also, I consider this to be a restaurant with a bar, not a bar that has food. Service staff should not be dropping F-bombs even if they are...

I am never coming here again! I came in to ask for a Pizza slice after work on Thursday, and they told me they don’t serve slices after 3 PM. Well, I gave them a chance and asked for an individual pizza And he told me it would take about eight minutes. I told him I would get a drink at the bar and he said that the waitress would be able to see my order and serve me there, well no such thing happened. I ended up waiting 30 minutes for nothing. And to add insult to injury as I was paying for my drink, it took them another 10 minutes to ring me out because they’re shorthanded. The manager, there was spending his time talking to a patron and not helping his server very much. I’m telling my friends not to come here anymore. While everyone else around me was getting their food. I waited For nothing! I will encourage anyone who ask me about your establishment not to come to you, especially nearby businesses.
