Eggceptional Cafe Breakfast & Lunch — Restaurant in Bartlett

Today I attempted to try this restaurant out for the 1st time. I called 45 minutes before closing. A lady picked up & told me to hold on, because she was dealing with a register credit void. She didn't wait for my response, she just put me on hold. I waited for 10 minutes with no interaction. So, I hung up. I tried calling back and the phone line was busy. The phone finally rings and someone picks up the phone and hangs up without speaking. I call again, and the phone line was busy again. We decided to go to the restaurant, and it was even more of an embarrassment for the establishment. AND of course they said the kitchen was closed. We spoke to Stephie and she stated "it's hard", "I got alot going on", Well I'm sorry, I'm training someone!" "You can't always get to everyone". I asked to speak to the manager who is also the owner named Andy. Stephie stated he is not in & she doesn't know when he will be in & he comes and goes with a schedule of them knowing. "It's hard to get in contact with him" This is not a trusted establishment to dine with. The customer service is a ZERO & clearly the business is not operational in normal manner. This is a horrible way to conduct business. If this is how you treat customers, I will never dine in and trust you to cook for me & my family!! Awful Experience, awful service, awful food! Asked for a high chair when seated, didn't receive one. Got water from the bus boy and asked for a couple more straws, never got them. Server took 7 mins to greet us and we asked again for straws and a High chair. NEVER GOT THE STRAWS!! When she brought the high chair she like tossed and said "I'll give you a few minutes" we have now been there for 15-20 mins and we're ready to order. She came back and then took the order. STILL NO STRAWS!! Waited about 30mins for our food and FINALLY GOT STRAWS WITH OUR Food! Mine was the only one that was actually hot. I have worked as a server for the last five years. I understand that restaurants can be busy, but we were her only table and the restaurant was basically empty besides for us. I will honestly never go back because I have never been so annoyed with how awful the service was. If she would've came up to the table and said I'm so sorry I forgot to ring in the order or the Cooks messed up an item, I'm having them remake it, I would of understood, but she never apologized or even took recognition as to how long the food was taking. Never offered refills and was only at the table to ask "anything else" like 3 times but was gone by the time we looked up to ask for something or say no. If I could rate this place negative I would. Definitely going back!!! I ordered the Tex-Mex Sauteed a scrambled egg mix with ham, mushrooms, peppers and onions which was very flavorful. I do not normally order scrambled eggs but I will definitely order this again. Along with the scrambled eggs I also got the choice of hash browns or fried cubed potatoes, two slices of bacon, two sausage links and two pieces of french toast. All were great! I got enough food that I will be able to have another breakfast. We went on a Saturday morning and by the time we were leaving at 9:30 they had at least 3 groups waiting for tables. I appreciated the bus boy bringing us water and taking our coffee order that way a waitress does not have to run right over to get your dink order even though our waitress showed up shortly after we got coffee. The wait staff was friendly and was helping each other out when it got real busy. I always like to see that the staff is helping each other out because to me it means management has trained their staff well to provide excellent customer service. The over all appearance of the restaurant was great. The only reason I gave a 4 star rating was because the men's bathroom was slightly dirty and it was early morning so the patrons did not have time to get it as dirty as it was on the floors.
