WOODSHED TAP — Restaurant in Bass Lake

READ before considering!!! Our first experience dining in we were met with incompetent wait staff. We ordered drinks and had to remind them to bring them. Then we ordered our meals and once again we had to remind them and the food was cold and we waiting over an hour for 2 meals. We also received our main course before our salads. We just thought you know everyone has bad nights but then... We ordered takeout half the food was missing and when we called we were met with attitude. Instead of driving back up there during our dinner We asked for a $20 gift card. Now we try for a third time, We order a simple salad and one chicken strip meal. When we go to pick up the meal the chicken strip meal is not in the order... The employee had the audacity to say that it was our fault that it wasn't in the order. Like bro we just spoke on the phone.... And the gift card was not waiting for us, they treated us like we are trying to steal it from them and they did not give it to us. Which the meals that were missing cost way more than the $20 that they offered us but I was not going to drive up to the restaurant while my family was eating dinner to get things straightened out. Obviously they were not good on their word anyways. The atmosphere is fine as long as you don't want a hot and complete order. Beware if you bring your kids you will be met with patrons talking inappropriately and cursing like it's a frat party. Never in my life has a restaurant ever failed this miserably to do the one job that they're supposed to do. This place will never get our business again! The owners...

Took my son to this fine establishment after a job well done on a long well planned executed interview at Culver earlier that day. I was pleasantly surprised by the incredible eats..We dined on the wanton fried ham/Swiss pickles and a side of ranch (delish we love a good fried pickle) nothing overpowered the other flavors well balanced. For entrees my son had the pan chicken bacon pizza which smelled wonderful (unfortunately didn't get a taste since I didn't know how hungry he was in case he wanted the entire pan). I had the macpaddy which of course was a one of a kind burger sandwich (which satisfied that burger I wanted on this trip to see my son). And I throughly enjoyed the smashed patty with Mac sauce which didn't dominate the sandwich but paired well with the bacon and mac-n-cheese. It sure did satisfy that burger I wanted. Shake shack who?? I'm glad my son's counselor recommended this place. We will be back or at least I will and definitely suggest this place to others. This was our first time going since the remodel and new owners. We have been here several times before that. I will say we will miss the salad bar, but the inside remodel looks very nice. We had a new waitress in training, so I'm not going to comment about the service right now under the circumstances of her training. The food, on the other hand 1 out of the four was happy with their food. That was the perch. He said it was really good. 2 of us had the Macdaddycheese one with brisket added the other with the Buffalo chicken. It was ok, but we definitely wouldn't order it again. Are baked potatoes sides were not cooked all the way and couldn't even eat them. The 4t meal ordered was the chicken strips, which used to be amazing! They were so overcooked that he could barely eat them. As I said, we have come to this spot regulars during the summer months, so we will continue to stop and give another chance.
