This must be a local favorite. It's a very small place. The women's bathroom wasn't very clean and needs to be updated. The faucet handles were black on the inside (you could see through the clear plastic) the sink was ooold and stained. It's just a ratty bathroom, a few updates like a new sink, faucet handles and a soap touch less soap dispenser would make it look a hundred times better. There were also flies in the kitchen and in the restaurant. I ordered a five-piece catfish plate. It came in a 3 compartment Styrofoam clam shell container, even tho we dined in and told the cashier. There was a dab of fries in the first compartment and a pinch of salad with a cup of ranch dressing in the other compartment. Not enough fries and too much dressing for two pieces of lettuce and a half a slice of a grape tomato. If they charge this much for a plate like this, don't use real dishes and give so little food, then they should have enough money left over to update the place a little. They also need ventilation and a/c for the kitchen. When I walked back there to use the bathroom, they had the door to the kitchen wide open and it was as hot as blue Hades in there. They probably have the back door open for air flow and that's how the flies are getting in. The catfish was good and freshly made, tho. I had to wait to let it cool off before...

The BBQ is pretty good, but be aware, there is a fee attached if you pay with a debit or credit card. I didn’t know this until I noticed it on my statement. The charge I was told when I placed my order at the drive-through window was completely different from what was charged to my card. I was not told about this card processing fee when I placed my order. Now that you know, be aware! But like I said earlier the BBQ is pretty good, only wished they’d been transparent about...

We stopped at Mack's on the spur of a moment and boy am I glad we did. I met Mack's grandson who was running the till and had a very pleasant conversation with him. The food was great and couldn't have hot the spot more. The sauce was just about perfect, something some places struggle with. The smoke was perfect and pork was tender and juicy. My son he isnt big on bbq said it was the best he had ever had. Would definitely stop and have more....
