El Catrin Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Batesville

Alrighty so just for a little rundown, I went here this past Monday with my mom for lunch, and needless to say, I was impressed. I actually have been wanting to eat here for years since I've always heard about it being a good Mexican buffet and also bc of the big margaritas I've seen on their Facebook page lol. But on the day that we went, the buffet wasn't available so we had to settle for regular dining, which is fine. Aside from that, everything was gucci. We were immediately greeted & seated by the host once we got in and our waiter came right over to us quickly too. Speaking of the waiter, he was really nice all throughout our time there and made sure we had everything we needed at the table and more. The food was good too (my mom and I both had nachos Jalisco) and it honestly made me want to try out more of their options on the menu. The atmosphere there was pretty chill too since there weren't that many folks in there at that time. Overall though, I enjoyed my time eating there and I'd be down to come back soon (hopefully when that happens, I can try out their margaritas to see if they live up to...

My family was dining in for my niece's birthday Everyone place their order I just order coffee when I asked the waitress for a refill on my coffee she informed me that she had another party on the other side .Being a former manager in food service that didn't come across me in the right way First of all if you can't handle two parties get some help I didn't need to know the price of tea in China just a refill Everyone had order their food at the same time my other niece didn't get her food until everyone else was finished . 1st Wrong attitude 2nd no checking back on tables . My highest complements! What a find. Driving cross county for vacation and spending the night in Batesville on the way home. The place was busier then normal for a Friday night but the manager got us in within 15 minutes. The place was hopping like a well oiled machine. The staff were super busy but still able to be cordial. The waiters were literally running with hot plates to hungry tables. The drink menu was exciting and affordable. I got my new favorite, tacos al pastor and they were amazing. I'd move here to eat here all the time. Server Olivia was great. Thanks for a great...
