I don't know how this place is rated this high. The rating is the reason I came here instead of five closer 'locations.' I came here at 10:45 (ordered at before 10:30 online. I would not have ordered at 10:45) and had to circle around three times and wait at the window each time before anyone noticed. Clearly they were maybe trying to "dissuade people," which I sorta took "personally" at first😭
I used to work at a place (poboy express) where my manager would 'strangely' get 'angry' at people who would come before closing. He wouldn't really show it to them, but he would to us. I was really surprised that there are people out there like that! I would never care... but hey 🤷
I don't think they got 'angry' here, but they did maybe lower their 'priority' to 'dissuade.' Sadly there are places like that.
The guy who finally came up to the window- he was either really sleep deprived, on drugs, or something else. Anyway, he seemed nice and tried to do the order right- I chose to be anxious and didn't speak clearly so he didn't understand me or thought he didn't. I didn't really understand him either (for that reason mainly.)
Eventually I got my food. I didn't get my three tender combo with unsweet tea and coleslaw. I got more tenders, two biscuits, and a sweet tea (this because they didn't have unsweet tea.)
I felt so "awkward" after that!
The chicken is really hard to break apart, but is good. I'm not sure if it's what I ordered
I would not come here right before they close. Advice: if 'they' say they're closed at 11:00 for 'you' they're closed at 10:00. I'm sure they are better earlier in the day. I was really looking forward to this and instead am disappointed by this rather terrible experience (this is my second time in my life at Popeyes, even though I have grown up here. The first was more than a year ago.)
'Regardless,' i think I'll go to El Pollo Loco next time or for the 'unlikely scenario' i want this sort of food I'll go to Raising Canes where the prices are 'asinine.'
Anyway, have a...
Read moreThe reps were courteous, but came across as inexperienced w/ the online ordering process. I ordered ahead to avoid having to endure long waiting, as I was fully aware would be the case. However, my son and I still had to park and come inside, wait for the order to be viewed and prepared accordingly...the very opposite of what I had the time to endure. As a customer service rep myself, I did not find it necessary or productive to start any scenes of conflict, and patiently waited inside for the order. Once I finally made it home I discovered a pie was missing from the order that I most surely ordered and also reflects on the receipt. It may seem minor and a small matter, but it wasn't for me and when u hv hungry children at home (five to be exact), it can cause an unnecessary conflict for the paying customer that's just plain & simply...NOT FAIR...bec they don't hv to deal w/ the matter at end of day. Things like this...yes the little things...should ALWAYS be considered for customers who are paying their 'hard earned' money to keep 'YOUR' biz functioning & even in existence. This is just 1 of the MANY incompetent and ridiculous experiences I've encountered w/ Popeyes over the past few months, after my having spent this far, over $300.00+ on orders with them, and have to YET been even acknowledged or compensated even 1/4 worth for some of there just plain 'foolish' mishaps that they were totally at fault for in each instance. I would greatly appreciate if a system is implemented to compensate customers when 'very much do & verifiable' situations occur like what I have been inconvenienced with having to endure for far...
Read moreThis was my last time (1/25) visiting this location. When you have client facing roles, people should strive to provide high quality customer service in which this location lack. I've been to this location quite a few times and it can be hit or miss with the food and they can be super slow. In the past, I have encountered a friendly staff. However, my recent experience, was very unpleasant. When I pulled up, there was no one in line at the drive thru. It appeared to be a slow night. I was told it would be about 20 min which was fine and the young man at the window was courteous. After I had waited about 25 min, another gentleman, who was one of the managers on the night duty, came out with bags but it didn't belong to me. It was for a vehicle that came some minutes after me. His demeanor and attitude was very rude when he approached the vehicle. He asked what I had and then went inside and came bk out with half the order. I got out the vehicle and walked in to say the order was not correct. His attitude was still nasty and he showed no form of courtesy as to say sorry for the inconvenience or anything. When you're in a leadership role, that person is supposed to set the tone for the other staff and be a good representation of the company. In this instance, this manager totally failed at that. The whole experience was just enough to leave...
