Figgs Fast Food — Restaurant in Battle Creek

Great food but the looks of the place makes you think you should eat somewhere else. It’s a run down red shack that hasn’t had any maintenance done on it since it began operations 30 years or so ago. There were cracks under the outside door and the one leading into the kitchen that any mouse could squeeze through to get to the cooking area.

We visited during COVID so in the waiting room there was a door with a plexiglass window cutout for you to place and pickup your order. Had to talk through the plexiglass cutout by bending down and had to ask her to repeat a few times. Might be normal for usuals to order here but for a new guy like me and my wife not knowing any options it was a little awkward since we didn’t know what options she was asking.

It took about 25 minutes to get our burger and fries. Burgers were on nice onion buns and the meat was not made from pre-made frozen disks. The burgers tasted unseasoned, they looked like nice sized hand formed patties.

The fries were a larger than the Golden Arches fries and had a better taste to them. Pretty tasty!

Don't be fooled by the looks of this place. It is Yum yum and more yum. Perfect spot for some very on point American grub. We had the rib tips that are in a Hawaiian punch tasting sauce. Tons of them for the 8.50 cost. Worth the purchase.
