My Brother ended up in the ER after eating at this resturant.

He ate dinner at this resturant with a group of 5 others. At 2 am he began throwing up. He continued to be sick and ultimately went into the ER at 8pm. In total,18hrs of vomiting every hour. My brother is a teenager and was healthy enough for this to be an acute problem and have a speedy recovery. I just worry that someone who is not as young and healthy as him would eat at this restuarant and become ill and it would do some damage.

5 out of the 6 people in the group ended up sick. The only one who did not get sick, did not eat the food.

We attempted to contact the owner and make them aware of the situation. They denied that he became ill due to eating at the resturant. This also means that the owner denies that there could be an issue with food contamination and/or improper food preperation. The main concern is that this will happen again. I just want the owner to look into this situation and address it so that more people will...

The first time we went to the Boathouse, which was a few weeks ago, the burger my husband ordered and the spinach salad I ordered were excellent. So, we decided to take family members there a few days ago. Quite a different experience! The Fish 'n Chips were so heavily breaded it was hard to find the fish. We ordered a house salad and received a plate of one kind of lettuce with two cherry tomatoes and two cucumbers. No cheese, croutons or other types of lettuce. Probably the most boring salad I've ever eaten. I ordered Fish 'n Chips but didn't want fries, so asked the server if I could substitute for a broccoli or another green veggie. He said "maybe- depends on whether or not the cooks are crabby." Who says that to a patron??!! Well, I got a baked potato that was so hard in the center I could only eat the ends. I should have sent it back, but we were rushed for time. Not sure we...

This is a place we will travel out of our way to eat at again. The atmosphere was nice and cozy. We loved all the lake decor on the walls. The waitress was very helpful with the menu and giving us time to figure out what we wanted to eat. I ordered a White Russian and i can say it was the best drink i have ever had. They use top shelf liquor and know how to mix a drink! I ordered all but the kitchen sink. All the sauces are made from scratch and delicious! This was so yummy and big proportions. I only ate half as i wanted to try the deserts. We ordered the warmed butter pecan cake with ice cream. So good!!!! We also ordered the new york cheese cake to go. The waitress was sweet and put the rasberry, Carmel and chocolate sauce in containers so we could try them all. The cheese cake was one of the best I've tasted. I will recommend this to anyone going through this area. And we...

We stopped in here on the way back to the twin cities after a visit to the cabin. Although the atmosphere is fun and welcoming, the service did not match at all. Our server seemed less than enthusiastic to be at work and it showed. After our dinner was delivered to our table, she stopped by to ask how everything was. I said great however could I get some ranch when you get a chance? She said of course… and lo and behold, she clearly over the next 20 minutes didn’t get a chance. She also ignored our table during that time. The food was so so, ( although the cheese curds were very good). Also if you are someone who likes your water cold, be prepared to ask for a glass of ice, as the water they put at the table is in a clear bottle and warm. I am pretty sure we will not be choosing to dine here again as the service alone ruined it for us.
