Holt's Sweet Shop-Baxley — Restaurant in Baxley

As I entered the shop there was an inviting atmosphere both women were as kind as could be but the Donuts here we're not as tasty as I had hoped for. As I bit into my donut it was a little too mushy for my liking, I could only describe the texture as if the donut had been left in oil too long and it absorbed all of the oil. Chocolate glaze is what I believed was supposed to cover my donut but instead it seemed to be chocolate frosting covering my donut making the already mushy donut a little too gooey and not in a good way:/ but please don't let this stop u from trying it out. This place just opened up today and they have had a lot of customers so far. Even so, the employees were very helpful and kind. Donuts we got are some of the best I've had, even better than Krispy Kreme donuts. Nice and soft dough and rich fillings. $10.50 for an assorted dozen, which also includes the eclairs and cinnamon rolls in that display case too!

Nothing like Douglas location. Not much of a selection. But the sweets were good Received service right away. But some days you go in there, the customer service is crap, and other days you go in there, the service is OK. Sometimes the younger staff has attitudes and are on their phone the whole time.
