We have eaten at Tequilas three to four times each month since they open. The food is delicious normally the service is very good. The atmosphere is greatly lacking due the the LOAD music blaring. You cannot have a conversation with the people you are eating with so therefore everyone in the entire restaurant is yelling just to be heard over the music. We have ask for the music to be turned down which the young man did but when the next song came on he turned it back up we were sitting under a speaker we could not eat fast enough to get out of there. We have ask about three different visits for the music to be turned down. Last week we walked in the young lady greeted us which I could not hear I stepped closer (about two foot) she said I can seat you at the bar!! It was 3 o’clock in the afternoon there were more empty tables than full so I ask about another table then had to step closer to hear her; at that time we decided to just leave so we could have a nice meal and talk with each other. Background music is nice in a restaurant but the young people should not be the ones allowed to turn the music up just because they are accustomed to blaring music. The new addition could be used as a no music room where people could listen to the conversation with family and friends....
Read moreThe homemade guac was absolutely amazing. The quesabirria needed more sauce on the meat, but otherwise tasty. Our waiter was attentive and efficient . Service was excellent. The 3 stars for atmosphere was the janitor who began to mop our entire section, including around our table multiple times (that was NOT dirty at all) with the strongest chemical smelling mop water that instantly caused both my fiance and I intense migranes and made me wanting to throw up the food I just ate. When I had to RUN out of the restaurant to breathe, my fiance told the waiter, and the janitor came back (!) To mop around our table AGAIN. I have never felt more disrespected at a restaurant. Why are u mopping, making a legal hazard for the restaurant, at 2:30 in the afternoon when there is no one in the section but us 2? Boggles my mind. Highly doubt we will be back after that episode. Sorry to the restaurant and the wonderful waiter (yes we tipped him...
Read moreWe got a gift card which paid for the meal. Thank you. We are avid Latin American food consumers. Presentation, amount of food and packing for travel was appropriate. We ordered fajitas, but tortillas did not get packed with order. Really small bag/Few chips packed for salsa. Salsa was ok. Beans were dry and pasty with little flavor. Salad and pico were standard. Guacamole was good but did not give impression it was made fresh at site. Packing of Nachos was weird. Cheese was at bottom, and they were damp from packing. Tasted like leftover tamales. We ate it and will continue until finished but next time we'll try fresh at restaurant. Take home eats was not the best first impression. (Pick up in restaurant and inside was very welcoming and decor had a nice Latin tone. Girls at counter we're...
