This place is amazing! Passed it by a few times and today I looked it up since I was a passenger. My sister and I circled back after whale watching and were so surprised to find local, fresh, inspired food on the coast. It’s always blown my mind that more place don’t do more fresh ingredients or something more than deep frying fish(aside from a grilled salmon here and there). I got the duck and it was delicious. My sister got the Cod collar and that was as well. We will be coming back for sure!

A Fantastic Dining Experience! This place blew me away! The service was so warm and attentive – they made me feel right at home. And the food? Absolutely incredible. Every dish was bursting with flavor and so beautifully presented. You can tell they put a lot of care and creativity into everything they serve. Honestly, it feels like it deserves a Michelin star or two. If you’re looking for a spot that’s worth every penny and leaves you talking about it for days, this is it. Highly recommend!

This is a hidden fine dining spot, a bit unusual for the Oregon coast. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and presentation of food. Amazingly priced and a wonderful use of ingredients together that I wouldn’t normally think of. Highly recommend, especially the Sunday three-course dinner! My only suggestion is the apricot almond tort was very dry - either change recipe or it was old/sitting out and dried out :(

At first I was suspicious about all reviews being all 5 stars. Then I got inside. Ok, quaint place, looks genuine, friendly staff. Then I put my order in, ask for a coffee, get a mug (warmed up on top of the espresso machine) and get to my table. Sip the coffe, wow that’s excellent. Ok, so far so good. My order arrives. I got ling cod on black lentils, beets, and some vegetable that I can’t remember. My wife got roasted veggies and quinoa. Both plates are presented excellently, fine dining level. I can’t believe my eyes. The cod is perfectly pan roasted, a delicate and yet crunchy outside and perfectly cooked inside, not dry, not too wet. I wish I could cook cod like this. The lentils are delicious, the beets too, and the non specified vegetable looked like a tiny cabbage and tasted divine. A generous portion but not too much. I still can’t believe what a gem of a...

Every bite I've ever eaten from Bay City Kitchen has been delicious. From salad to dessert and every bite in-between, the food is always delicious. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is very friendly.

It's a small place. You order at the counter and your food is delivered to the table. Water, napkins, and utensils are self-serve, don't expect traditional table service.

Most menu items are available frozen/refrigerated, so a last-minute dinner to go is easy. Choose your dishes, pay, and go.

Good beer & wine options plus some out-of-the-ordinary non-alcoholic beverages. Not a huge list, but all quality selections.

Sunday dinner is always a prix fixe menu that includes salad, entree, and dessert. As of 3/3/24 the Sunday dinner was $30/person.

Highly...

Bay City Kitchen is, imho, the best restaurant on the Tillamook Coast. BCK uses the freshest local ingredients and create unexpectedly delicious dishes. Last night I had the herb crusted lamb with couscous and turnips. $20. I’m impressed with the variety of vegetables and perfect preparation. This is what eating out should be, an adventure in trying foods I wouldn’t know how to cook for myself. My meal was delicious. I got bites of my husband’s steak and potatoes stuffed with braised vegetables…perfection. If this restaurant was in Portland there would be a line down the block starting at noon. Also, the Sunday night dinners are popular for a good reason. I should add, the staff have been consistently friendly...
