Gilly's Bistro — Restaurant in Bay City

My wife and I have been meaning to check out Gilly’s for quite some time. We came in today from out of town.

If you're in the mood for some delicious Mexican cuisine, you absolutely have to check out this spot! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is lively and welcoming. The staff are friendly and attentive.

My wife and I ordered the wet burrito and nachos, and let me tell you, they did not disappoint. The wet burrito was massive, packed with savory ground beef, beans, rice, and melted cheese, all smothered in a flavorful sauce and fresh veggies. It was so good that I couldn't stop eating it.

The nachos were just as amazing. They were loaded with beans, cheese, and fresh veggies, and the chips themselves were crispy and not greasy. The portion size was generous, and I ended up sharing them with my wife.

Overall, I would highly highly recommend Gilly’s to anyone looking for some delicious food. The wet burrito and nachos were both amazing, and I can't wait to come back and try some of the other items on the menu. Don't miss out on this gem of...

What can I say other than this place is simply AMAZING! My fiance and I came here during the first week they were open and have been regulars since.

The atmosphere is caring when the owner makes you feel welcomed and sparks up conversation even while working on orders. Also does an amazing job remembering faces. Every time I go in, he's always incredibly nice.

The food though. It's FANTASTIC! I had a good variety of the foods that are offered and their family nachos and totals are simply amazing! Very flavorful and the right price for what you get. Also their hot salsa is one of the best I have ever had. The menu is very simple plus they also have to go option from the fridges for lunch time if you are on the go. Plus they have many goods you can buy while you wait for your food.

First thing thst comes to mind is WOW! It was such a cool feeling walking into this Bistro as I have not seen a place like this Anywhere near by, and the asethetic was through the roof! I was greated very warmly by the cashier/waitress and she even gave me the recommendation of the Barria Tacos which I have always wanted to try. These Tacos were absolutely phenomenal! The crunch was addicting, and the flavor makes you want more and more! The prep cook Lupe came over and asked me how everything was and was extremely nice and it was so pleasant to see and hear. The cook behind the outstanding food was Sally, and she was even nice enough to take a picture with me and it was fantastic. If you haven't tried this place yet, you are absolutely missing out. I will be back to try their Puffy Tacos which were recommended to me by the Waitress and Owner, and the owner was also a wonderful guy that had the customers and food all in mind.
