We stopped in to Kona Island for lunch on our first day in Disney. It's located in the Polynesian hotel with quick access to the monorail that goes to Magic Kingdom. The food selection was good and the above was great. The kids sushi is not real sushi and uses rice with chicken nuggets and vegetables. There are a few options for real sushi and many other food options on the menu. The beer flight was great with Kona beer selections. The dessert we chose was presented nicely and tasted great. They serve a nice assortment of desserts and coffees and other beverages, and not to mention sushi!
They actually have a large selection of chocolate covered bacon, however on this visit we tried the special 50th anniversary cupcake and the s’mores cup.
If you are a chocoholic like me, then I highly recommend the s’mores cup.
