China Delicioso — Restaurant in Bayamón

I ordered sesame chicken and fried rice, with an appetizer of Crab Rangoons ("Mariposas"). What I got was a poor imitation of Chinese food, with lazy cooking, or worse, cutting corners that left the food tasteless. The Crab Rangoons were not enveloped in wonton skins, but hard doughs, and the insides were dry, and without crab, or red pepper, or green onion. The sesame chicken was cut in pieces that were too large, breaded, fried (not in a hot wok) and dunked in a sweet and sour sauce, instead of a sesame sauce, and sprinkled with, no exageration, four sesame seeds. The rice was hard and cold and totally tasteless. So much so that three packets of soy sauce could not make it edible. This was a very disappointing meal. I do not recommend this restaurant. My family and I were staying in Bayamón on Christmas Eve. Being from the mainland, we didn't realize that almost everything closed before 7 PM. Luckily, another guest at our hotel told us about China Delicioso.

The Lo Mein noodles was our only option, since we are vegetarians. The food is very tasty and nicely prepared. I was surprised how delicious it was. I live in NYC and have had all kinds of Asian foods. The place is spacious, extremely clean, excellent service and they even have a window from which you can order. My dish was the Garlicky Fish Combination and the taste and seasoning of the dish was absolutely amazing… delishhhh!
