First off let me say, the food it good..drinks are ok and the price for things are a bit high but for the food and portions I won't say too much on this. The issue is the manager (bar tender). He is rude, lies about things and is down right unpleasent. I have seen other reviews concerning this guy so I'm not alone. Small businesses today in the economy we live in shouldn't tolerate this. I would return but will be calling to make sure that my family doesn't have to deal with him in any way. The waiter was slow..seemed new so we went with it with this understanding and even my wife said she is going to tip him extra because she knows how it is to be new or just nervous. He did everything he could. When I addressed a concern with him he said "let me have my manager take care if it and fix this " next thing I know here walks over the "rude and unprofessional manger" to not only fix it..he was short, rude and very unpleasent. If my children weren't present I may have said what needed to be said, addressed it and moved on. My wife had been there in the past many times and never "needed" to deal with this particular individual and now...she isnt sure she would return. Some advice to the owner, find a more professional individual. The problem with this is that "managers" are usually the ones who review these comments so I'm sure he/she/they may not know what these issues are. Being a veteran and traveling the world I have never had a manger make things worse rather then helping fix and helping a customer understand even policy. What we got were lies and unprofessionalism. I understand there are restaurants that can't accept multiple cards, but that should be said beforehand. We were told nothing. When our group paid and TIPPED with multiple cards our first time at the restaurant, it wasn't an issue and we were welcomed back by the manager. Our second time, our group paid with multiple cards again. My friend went to the manager at the bar to give him the cards and he threw the cards back at him and refused. So when we told the waiter what happened, the waiter agreed to handle it for us. Next thing we know, the manager comes up to us and told us that we are no longer welcome and we should take our business elsewhere. He also said we didn't tip the first time, which we absolutely did tip.
What kind of business owner tells paying and TIPPING customers that you're no longer welcome even though you paid and TIPPED just with separate cards? Unacceptable, and people wonder why these small local business fail and shut down. Because when locals try to support them, they get treated with disrespect. Read moreWe always order the garlic chicken Parmesan and I’m usually a huge fan! Today I ordered the same dish and it was clearly burnt and dried out completely, there was no flavor of the balsamic drizzle on top and frankly it tasted like it was old and has been sitting out under the heat for hours so I called to relay that information to the restaurant. The owner starts to argue with me telling me that I’m wrong and that he knows that dish is always prepared correctly he went back and talk to the chef and got back on the phone with me telling me it’s the balsamic drizzle that’s makes it look dark. I explained that we flipped the chicken and the underside was burnt, and basically called me a liar and told me “next time if you’re not happy go to KFC lady!” And hung up on me. You tell me if this looks burnt or not? He refused to do anything about it and was not willing to even look at the picture or have us bring in the food so we can get a fresh meal even though we spent over $40 for this meal using Grubhub.
