I was extremely disappointed with my meal during my recent visit. I usually order the Pargo dish, which has always been delicious. Unfortunately, this time the fried fish was extremely dry. I didn’t want to make a fuss and simply set it aside, but our wonderful server—who always takes great care of us—asked if the fish was okay. I honestly mentioned it was dry, and against my will, she kindly took the Dish back to the kitchen to inform the person in charge.
As a restaurant operator myself, I completely understand that mistakes happen in the kitchen. That is perfectly fine—things go wrong sometimes, and I wasn’t looking for a freebie or to take advantage of the situation. What disappointed me was the poor customer service from the kitchen manager, who sarcastically insisted that there was nothing wrong with the fish instead of acknowledging the issue.
The servers here are amazing, always welcoming, and provide great hospitality. But the dismissive attitude from the kitchen manager ruined what could have been...
Read moreI was looking forward to trying this restaurant after it reopened and rebranded from Latitude Zero. My family and I had plans to patronize for Father’s Day, a week or so before I called to request a reservation, and was told they do not take reservations.
Come the day of Father’s Day we arrived in attempt to see if we can get a table on walk-in. There was a worker holding a notebook of reservations AND walk-ins, however, they were not honoring first come first serve, as they were taking down names of people who arrived later than the ones before.
Overall, this experience has been SO disappointing. I understand it’s a holiday, but it isn’t a surprise, it’s an annual holiday. The disorganization, lack of honor system and transparency were so frustrating. To tell customers the restaurant DOES NOT take reservations instead of transparently informing the restaurant is fully booked via reservations is very...
Read moreA Hidden Gem for Authentic Ecuadorian Food! We visited this new Ecuadorian restaurant as a family of five and were absolutely blown away! Every dish we tried was packed with flavor and authenticity. We had the Yapingacho, Caldo de Pata, Calamares Frito, and Arroz Marinero each one better than the last. The portions were huge, perfect for sharing, and the food was incredibly flavorful.
We also enjoyed a round of mimosas and cocktails, all of which were refreshing and well-made. The service was warm and welcoming, making the entire experience even better. We’re so excited to have found this spot and will definitely be...
