Ricky's Burgers — Restaurant in Baytown

Tried Ricky's for dinner tonight, now I'm laying in bed with a stomach ache. I'm sure it was because the burger was so greasy. They should consider changing their name to Ricky's Thick and Greasy. Based on other reviews I expected something special. What we got were a couple of very expensive burgers made with frozen patties and extra grease. My burger was literally sitting in a pool of grease. We paid $26 for two burgers, two fries, two drinks and an order of mushrooms. I normally wouldn't order fries or a drink but they told us it was free with the Thursday special. That was a bit misleading because they way she rang it u my burger that should have been $7.25 ended up being over $9.00 once she added the "free" drink and fries. We also paid an extra $2.59 for the second Patty on my husband's double cheeseburger plus $1.60 for the two slices of cheese. The fries have some weird seasoning and it tastes like everything is cooked in weird oil.

I don't mind a "greasy" burger and fries from time to time but this was just over the top gross greasiness. All things considered, we won't be back. We could have had two much better burgers at Texas Roadhouse...

I gave a one star review for this location because I had to give a rating, but I would give it zero stars after our first and last experience with them tonight. We called in our order at a few minutes after 7 got there about 30mins later and half the order was not correct, order two sweet teas and they didn't even have any ready. Paid 45 dollars for what was suppose to be 2 kids meal 2burgers with fries and then another burger.one kids meal had no fries and I was charged 6.29 for one kids meal the other was 5.49 when they should only be around 4 dollars, told the guy who took the order at least 3times, no mayonnaise on any of them, and one of the burgers they tried to scrape the mayo off but it was still on the bun and lettuce. At this price there shouldn't have been any problems with of our food, and we could have age at Texas roadhouse for...

We were hungry and looking for a spot while heading home.

My wife spotted it and headed on in. The place was spotless and the menu was easy to read on the screens. we ordered the two burger meal special, since it was the special that night.

We got our drinks and sat down to watch football on the giant screen and the food arrived a few minutes later.

The burgers weren't spectacular, but were great and filling, plus the cost of 12 bucks was great, the onion rings and fries were, in my opinion, very good.

The only disappointment were the drinks. They were from the self serve fountain and little carbonation. I tried several, but they were mostly flat. It could have been an off day, so that's me being a bit petty.
