Let's do it. This place is a hidden gem right in our backyard. It's small but it's doing big things with the food and the service. We were greeted when we walked in and seated right away. Off the top of my head, there's probably about 10 tables inside which were full, so make a reservation. Gia was our waitress. She was so kind, attentive, and very sweet. She kept checking on us and gave us updates on our order. We ordered lasagna poppers for our appetizer, and it was delicious. For dinner, I had linguine and clams, hubby had lasagna, and they both came with salad. The salad was not made with iceberg lettuce, thank God. The pasta was cooked to perfection lots of clams, lots of garlic I was in heaven. I tasted the lasagna as well. The sauce was great it didn't have mounds of ricotta. The cheese pull was crazy. This is definitely a must try even if you do take out. We're going next week to try the pizza. The older lady, I think, is the owner she says they have the best pizza in town. I believe her. 😊 It was so busy but she was kind enough to come to our table to see if we liked the food and to make sure we didn't need anything. Top tier service made the food that much better. See you...
Read moreI have heard of Antonio's before, and the reviews were all good. But given the apparent size from the outside, I must admit to being a little skeptical at first. Once inside, I was pleasantly surprised. We were seated within a minute or two, tops. Our waitress took our drink order, left us with fresh bread, and returned a couple minutes later. I ordered a Caesar's Insalata, and my wife ordered the Italian Combo grinder. A short time later, a gentleman, presumably the chef or the owner arrived at our table with my salad in one hand, and a hot grinder in the other. He apologized, and then explained they made a mistake and made the wrong grinder. He said they were making the correct one, but was offering that I could take the other grinder at no charge. The salad was great, the correct grinder, to my wife's enjoyment had a balsamic vinaigrette instead of the advertised oil and vinegar - yet another win for Antonio's. We were left to dine with a warm and genuine, "Buon apetito." In this runaway pricing economy, their prices were more than fair, and portions well worth it. A hearty handshake and a very friendly, "Ciao," as we departed sealed the deal on this...
Read moreWe arrived and asked for a table for two I was told it would be 15 minutes at 30 minutes they offered us complimentary beverage then we were told we could be seated we followed the waiter to a table that couldn't even fit a couple of 5th graders it was ridiculous they asked us to wait a few more minutes and we did lo and behold I realized an hour had gone by and we were still waiting they could have had the common courtesy to say that they were simply booked solid and perhaps we should try to make reservations and come back another day so the likelihood of me returning after an experience like this is less than 0 time is precious especially on a Friday night for me and my wife fortunately there's a lot of great restaurants in Milford we went to Los Szechuan I highly recommend the garlic and pork as well as some of the other mixed vegetable dishes too bad I can't comment about the food at Antonio's it looked good at a distance but again who wants to waste their time they're not the only...
