K Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Beaumont

Ok was recommended by several fellow crawfish lovers and have to say this place would of never attracted me had it not been for that. Let's start with the crawfish first. They were perfectly seasoned and tasted great. Honestly I can't say one thing wrong about the taste and size of the crawfish. If you like your crawfish hot and spicy then this is your place to go. They are also priced reasonable but you do have to pay extra for corn, potatoes and corn. Which is fine and didn't really have an issue with that and it was eqaully seasoned as well. Now for the cons, if your looking to be served and enjoy a night out being waited on this is not the pace. It's pretty much your on your own when you need anything , get your own drinks , extra paper towels, sauces, etc. I did notice the place was rather dirty when I went , lots of stuff splashed and dried on the walls and such which I understand it's a place people messing stuff at but little wiping with a wet towel goes a long way. Didn't notice any sort of busing or cleaning going on from the two guys relaxing behind the counter. But like I said if your looking for hot and spicy crawfish with a laid back atmosphere where you can just wear what you got on and eat this is your place. I called to order some wings for the first time today. The phone they use picks up a lot of the background conversation and movement near the register. Had a very hard time understanding what the girl was saying because she was talking to me and answering someone picking up an order. I think she said they have a 5 piece and 10 pieces of wings. I think she was telling me the 10 piece was $16.99 which seems high to me, but maybe she was tell the lady pickup up her order that that was her bill. I never found out because she layed the phone down and I waited and 2-3 min for her to pick the phone back up but she just reached over and hung the phone up without finishing to take my order. I guess she didn’t think anyone would still be waiting on the line after 3 or so minuets. So I decided my that was best since so many of their good reviews are from 4 to 6 years ago and the customer service might be a reflection on the food quality since more recent reviews were not as high in ratings. Maybe I missed out or maybe I lucked out not getting an order placed. I’ll just have to go to the my last place I got good wings and drive a little across town. if they want my business next time maybe they will train someone how to take a phone order, ask them if they can hold and then come back to take their order, if there is...

This weekend im spending some time with my Fiance in Beaumont Texas. Hadn't gotten a chance to eat anything much today but im in the mood for Seafood. There are lots of Places in town that sells Seafood, but. I want good seafood. Usually my Number 1 spot of course would be Pappadeauxs Seafood Kitchen located on I-10 South, Beaumont Texas. But I have found another great place called K-Asian Kitchen located at 5540 College Street in Beaumont Texas that serves some great seafood. The menu is pretty big with lots of delicious combinations including fish fillets, Shrimp, Fried Oysters, Fried frog legs, Fried Pork Chops, Fried Chicken wings all served with fried rice or French fries, Cheese Burgers, Boudin Balls, and many many more delicious dishes to choose from, and this place is always packed. The boil Crawfish are incredible. I get crawfish there a few times a year when crawfish are in Season and I haven't been disappointed yet.
