Subway — Restaurant in Beaumont

This will be a very candid review. I am normally excited for a great sandwich. While I can tell that the person helping me was obviously new and trying his hardest, the other employees were not watching over the new employee. Ordering my sandwich was extremely frustrating. Originally asked for one of the new pre-set up sandwiches on the menu. When he was struggling to get how to build the sandwich, I told him, "Never mind, just get me a flatbread sandwich." He spent a few minutes staring at the bread cabinet, trying to figure out where the Flatbread is. Meanwhile, the other employee had other patrons going around me, building their sandwiches. This was a long, drawn-out process, and I understand he is new and needs to learn. However, he should not be doing things himself when he is clearly lost and trying to learn his way around the kitchen. The sandwich was very poorly built with a heavy clump of salt/pepper in some spots, which made it difficult to eat the food i was so excited for.

Very fast service. Wait wasn't long at all even during the lunch rush. What made my experience frustrating was when I went to order I asked for a chipotle southwest steak and cheese exactly how it is on the menu and the young lady continued asking what I want on it .... Through out my ordering experience I repeated myself 3 more times as she asked what I wanted on it .
