La Salsita Restaurant — Restaurant in Beaumont

Their food is amazing, however the management's take on homeless people is unfortunate. I understand as a business you do not want a certain class of people outside all the time. However, when they are truly hungry; are willing to accept food over money, and someone offers to pay for their food at your restaurant, how dare you treat them as subhuman and refuse them service. They are another paying customer at that point and should be treated with the same respect. You lost my business La Salsitas when you refused to serve my guest the same as you would serve me! She would've left your parking lot had you just fed her at my expense, there was no need in being cruel even if she is there often. EVERYONE GETS HUNGRY, and on a cold day when I pay for my food I expect to eat inside too if there are booths available. Shame on you.

I would not recommend this place.the staff is rude and inconsiderate. I ordered a beef barito. The server asked if I wanted rice and beans in it. I said no rice. When she made it I noticed she put rice so I politely said I didn't want rice. She then gave me a blank stare like I was the one that did something wrong. She started to make another one and turned her back to add the beans I didn't notice that she has out a large amount of salt in my barrito untill I sat down to eat. I when back to the counter and explain what happened to the other server at the register and asked for the managers or owners number. She started acting clueless and dumbfounded. She left the returned ignoring me so I asked again . She looked at me and said I can't give you the number. So I guess I'm out 10 bucks and lunch. I will never go to this...

Had a great experience when I went in Saturday night 5-16-2020 , was a little skeptical cause they removed their menu and put up a small sign that says price changes but didn’t think to much ... Came back the next night 5-17-2020 ordered the exact same thing but ended up paying double ??? I asked the young lady “why so expensive , I just ordered the same thing last night “ Her response “ the price changed over night “ 😤😡😤😡 seriously won’t be going back , I figure since it’s right near the plant Exxon Mobile they charge the employees whatever cause they figure they make money , that’s just sad and dishonest...
