Paige Seafood — Restaurant in Beaumont

I showed up at 11 AM, and Paige Seafood was out of Crawfish. I asked a simple question,"Will you have crawfish later today?" I was told a truck would deliver more crawfosh at 4:30 PM. I called to check twice, and I was told the Truck would arrive at 4:30PM. I told my wife to call at 4:15PM and she was told the same info. They also told her that we needed a Ticket to reserve a Sack and they only had 7 Sacks Available.

They did not tell me anything about a ticket when I walked into the store. I also did not know anything about it. I called twice, and not once did someone tell me about a ticket. This is a bad business. My plans for my family are screwed up because someone decided not to tell a customer about a ticket.

My response to your reply.... I should not have to reserve crawfish. I will take my business to Quick Serve or Lieu's Seafood Market. They play fair.

I walked in the store at 11AM & I called 2xs. I did not receive any information about reservations. You guys had 3 Opportunities! Purchased 5lbs of cooked crawfish for $40. It is more expensive than some restaurant but I am ok with it since it is closer to my house. However, it was mushy like 95% of it!!!! Some tasted like it was spoiled (not just fishy)... disgusting! I am 100% sure it was not lived crawfish that they boiled. If the crawfish isn't fresh, the ethical thing to do is to say we ran out.

My mom visited Beaumont and wanted some crawfish. You would think a seafood market will have the freshest crawfish. We were both super disappointed and wished we ate something else! I will never return back.

If you check recent reviews there are a lot of one stars. Looks like quality have gone way down lately.

Reply to owner: when someone purchase food the base expectations is it is fresh, especially seafood. Instead of apologizing for the poor quality, you are asking why I didn't call? This speaks volumes on how you treat your customers. This is exactly why I didn't bother to call. I didn't want my night ruined arguing about this.

Well, the way you have in the past responding to other customers tells me customers experience isn't your top priority.

If you do not know real crawfish a real shrimp and you're expecting a good meal out of these people you're wrongly mistaken do not go here unsanitary unhealthy got very sick with family they sell you baked shrimp as real shrimp shrimp are not sold with the heads on them especially when the sign says that been here my whole life and the management tells me to bring back the shrimp and crawfish that were bad they're in the trash she expects me to go dig them out and bring them back so that's what I'm going to do as nasty as that sounds hey they want their bait back to go make some more money using nasty crawfish to catch their nasty fish in crawfish that they sell I don't know anyone can sell anybody that this is real Cajun food That's a lie and that's a fact Cajuns no that Vietnamese people do not keep their Cajun food the same as real Cajuns we take it offensive when you do not clean or serve food the right way and can get you sick please be careful with your family your friends your loved ones would not eat here ever again Will not buy...
