Casey's — Restaurant in Beaver Dam

This morning when I stopped by, you could tell by looking at the cashier It was very obvious that she hates her job. I stopped in for a drink before I headed to Owensboro and my card for some reason was saying that it was invalid even though it works every single time that I go into a store. This was the only convenient store left before I got back on the road so I politely asked her if it was possible for me to key my card in. she got mad and looked at me like I had just offended her and she just kept sighing like it was an inconvenience for her even though there was no one in the store and she wasn't doing anything. She rudely told me that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't , long story short she had no idea how to process the payment, she didn't care to know and I didn't have cash... needless to say I left there without anything. the odd part is the only time she smiled is when I gave up and told her that I would go somewhere else. Note: next place I stopped the card worked first swipe...

I went in to prepay for my gas, i asked if i could get $40 on the pump i was on and the attendant proceeded to tell me someone before me had already prepaid $20 on that pump... and told me to go pump that $20 and come back in.. so I did that and he then added one of the 20s i gave him which my truck didn't use all of the other, so I went back in to get my change and he only gave me back $1 and kept the other $20 in his drawer... will not be...

Great place to shop. Competitive prices on everything. They always have hot food ready to go. Great customer service, always see a smiling face. The only drawback is that they don't carry my brand of cigarettes, but that's ok. Other than that, this is a great place for most...
