went in with a party of 20, most of the party was getting tacos and drinks. The server was obviously overwhelmed with other tables and was a bit slow. in all there were about 30 - 40 tacos ordered. At first I was irritated with the server because she was nowhere to be found and my drink was delivered around 20 minuted later. Other members of the party were also becoming annoyed with the service we were receiving. Myself and my girlfriend ahd to leave and with the server nowhere to be found I went to the bartender who told me that she could not cash me out and sent me to the owner who was sitting at the bar I explained the situation and he said sorry. I told him I needed to leave and he went in the back. He came back out and stated that the server would be out in a minute. 10 minutes went by and I again went to the bartender and the owner said she was coming out. When the server finally came out she said she was sorry she had to make all of the tacos. I received my bill and then was thinking why is a server making food? Someone that handles money. debit cards, and filthy rags should not be preparing food. I brought this up to the server and while all this is going on the owner is sitting at the bar bullshitting and drinking. I have worked in many restaurants and never has a server ever prepared food. There is something definatly wrong with that and that is unsanitary. Processes at this restaurant are backwards and will make servers slow, and the owner seems not care while all of this is going on. that drink of his must have been really important to him. I paid for food I did not eat because I was grossed out and gave it to another member of our party and my girlfriend didn't get her food and two other members of the party did not receive their food either. I will not step foot in this establishment again and it is a wonder that it is still open. All in all with the info that I have learned from this trip I really dont blame the server and the owner does not seem to care that people have time constraints in todays busy society. This all happened in 1.5 hours of being there. slow service today was definatly caused by a server having to prepare food. I hope that the servers have been trained on food...
Read moreThe two stars are only because the food was decent and the busboy was on top of it. This was my first time here and will for sure be my last. We went at 1:30 on a Saturday. Apparently, the waitress and bartender take the name of the restaurant a little too litteral. The busboy came up to us and got our drink orders a few minutes after we sat down. He was too young to get the 2 bar drinks we ordered, though. It took about 10 minutes before our waitress made an appearance. Even though I watched him tell her we wanted drinks from the bar and she said I got it, she still didn't ask us. She just went on to take our food order. We had to remind her. My drink took almost 20 minutes to show up, and that was after we asked her about it as she walked by us. My mom's drink took over half an hour. We kept asking the waitress, and every time she told us, "Oh, I can't find the bartender, let me go get her." Then, when she did finally find the bartender, apparently, she came back to double check the drink order. The next time she walked by after that, she gave us the same 'I can't find the bartender' answer again. Finally, my mom said if the food came out before the drink that she didn't want the drink anymore. The elusive drink was brought out just a few minutes later, and the food was a few minutes after that. I just can't understand. They were not busy. There was only one other table and about 5 people sitting at the bar. I would totally understand if they were slammed, but they absolutely were not. We probably would have gotten a couple of drinks each if they didn't take so ridiculously long. Again, I want to say that we were very impressed with the busboy (not sure if that's actually his role. That's just how it seemed) He was SO much more helpful and never seemed to stop working as he was buzzing around...
Read moreI find it hard to believe this place has mostly high reviews and a 7.8 by the burger review guy, came in around 1 this Saturday with a party of 8. It was dead. The waitress “Megan” was a joke after she gave us our drinks and brought out our food were literally splitting drinks into different cups so everyone wasn’t choking on the pathetic over cooked and dry food. She drive by checked on us after someone else dropped the food off for her and her only concern was if all the food was correctly ordered. Not if it was cooked to order and was good. Never checked on us again an a few of us just choked it down because we drove from an hour away for the local pumpkin patch. My wife didn’t her meal so my wife politely asked if I could get taken off the bill, her response was why didn’t you say something way earlier and walked away, dropped our bill off and the sandwhich was still on there so we asked if she’s making us paying for the meal we didn’t eat and her response was with attitude “well I’m not a manager” and then we responded can we speak to one then and she stormed off. The manager however was professional and apologetic and was happy to take it off the bill. 0/10 all the way around What we got The Ruben - trash - the meal my wife didn’t eat didn’t come with thousand island either The all American burger ordered medium - trash over well done and the cheese wasn’t even melted The brisket sandwhich - dry brisket, scorched bacon Cheese curds- more like cheese bricks - trash Chicken tender meal- over done
Everyone also got fries and she brought us out a single to go cup of ketchup and said she didn’t have bottles
Waitress - unprofessional and scatter brained … attitude
We are not picky we are not mean. This is probably my first review ever and it’s because this was...
