Last night was our first and last time eating here. We had a reservation for a larger party of about 12 people. When we showed up, half the party was there, and there were plates of oil out. We were brought our appetizers about 30 minutes later, and still no bread provided. I asked the waitress if they normally serve bread with their oil and she said, ā€œYeah but I was waiting for more of you to show up. Do you want any or I can keep waiting?ā€ I thought it was strange we had to ask for bread.

Unfortunately there was an emergency and 4 of our party members weren’t able to make it, so there were 8 of us. When we told our waitress this was everyone and the rest of the party wouldn’t make it, she said, ā€œOk… I’m just confused because you said more of you were coming,ā€ with an attitude. We immediately felt the service shift. Our drinks went unfilled all night and food was SLOW. She didn’t check on our table more than once the entire evening and all in all our party of 8 was there from 6:50pm to 10:02PM! We were prompt to order when she did come out, but food was taking this long and the restaurant wasn’t full. Far from it.

She had no idea who ordered what, gave someone someone else’s salad.. my husband never got his salad and we didn’t have a chance to ask her for it because it was about an hour before we saw any server again, and that was when dinner was being served. Food was lukewarm. They brought someone the wrong meal. Later, a few of our party ordered dessert and it took 45 minutes. 45 minutes to fry one order of dough, and plate a piece of refrigerated cheesecake.. unreal. Because it was SO LATE there was only one other group of guests there, but tons of teenage staff standing around the bar talking, scrolling their phones, eating dessert while we waited for service all night. We were kind too…. Not demanding or complaining.. because we were there for a birthday and wanted to make it a good evening but it was a ROUGH experience. I had no idea I would leave the house at 6:30 for dinner and not get back until 10:30, and be treated like an...

A recent transplant from New England to Ohio I kept hearing about this restaurant so I decided to try it out and in fact I did about 3 weeks ago. I was going to write a review but I decided to hold off because I thought the experience of their standard of excellence cannot possibly be consistent. I thought as they exceeded expectations that possibly everything was working great at the moment, yet I have found on all three visits that the hospitality model they cemented in being recognized as outstanding in fact rises to the occasion every time. The food is phenomenal as is courteous service especially with my server who I request, Erin. I recently met Mandy another server and this woman is incredible as she gives me sass right back because I gave it to her first. Lol. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Michigan. I almost said Ohio because I'm less than a mile away and I never know half the time what state I'm in. So let's say this is the best in both States if not all of the midwest. In addition to the magnificent dinners they also have a lunch special that cannot be beat. For $8.99 you get a very nice salad of choice along with your choice of one of the many pastas or a pizza for one.So what is my favorite? Hands down the lasagna! Or it could be the chicken carbonara now that I think about it. No wait a minute. It's the spaghetti with meatballs. Wait. Hold on. No it's...

I couldn't recommend eating here after our experience.

Pros: They have incredible bread Cons: Everything else on the menu is not bread.

In all seriousness, we stopped in after a really hard day of work and our dinner was quite disappointing. For 3 out of the 4 of us it was served warm in the middle of the plate and cold everywhere else. We left without eating more than half of what was served to us.

The pomodoro sauce is very watery and sweet. The result is bland pasta that dries up quickly.

The alfredo sauce on the Sacchettini lacks salt but is heavy on the butter for a greasy flavor. You could see the separation of the butter vs cream on the plate (partially due to the temperature issue, I imagine).

One of us ordered The Boot (basically a small sampling of a variety of items) and the lasagna and spaghetti with meatball were extremely dry. This came with Chicken Gnocchi soup which was actually delightful.

The staff were kind about these issues when we brought them up, and they did let the cooks know. I hope that others who give them a shot have a great experience. The bread really truly was one of the best things ever! It had an awesome flavor. We were bummed to have had such an overall...

Yes, I love going out—and that’s because I’m blessed with great friends who enjoy good food as much as I do. Tonight, we dined at Sidelines Italian on Secor and Summerfield Road, and it was really good. I ordered my favorite, the Sacchettini Alfredo—a dish I can only find here. They are these delicate little pasta pouches filled with this creamy mozzarella, Monterey Jack, ricotta, and Romano cheeses, in a rich, creamy Alfredo sauce. Pure heaven. I managed to eat half and saved the rest for Monday because it’s just that good. I started out with a bowl of Fagioli soup—homemade goodness in every bite, though I will confess I prefer Olive Gardens Fagioli soup a little more . My friend Bonnie went with the Spaghetti Bolognese, a tomato-based sauce that she raved about. Friends Julie and Vicky shared the Chicken Dela Casa—grilled chicken with lemon, garlic, and a charred tomato sauce—plus a fresh, crisp salad. Marlene chose the Stuffed Manicotti, a generous portion she couldn’t quite finish, but loved every bite. Fanette ordered a steak cooked medium-well, which she said was tender and flavorful (though her mashed potatoes were a little lukewarm—still, not a dealbreaker! My friend John enjoyed the Chicken Gnocchi Soup and Salad, a perfect comfort combo. Everything was amazing, but honestly, it’s never just about the food—it’s about the company. Sharing laughter, stories, and time together creates memories that last far longer than any meal. Here’s to good friends and good food—because both feed the soul.#goodvibes ,#goodfoodvibes , #goodfriendsgoodtimes

Their August drink of the month (something Sunrise; it had Malibu, šŸ, & šŸŠ juice in it) was delicious! This is the second time I've been here! Got the Grouper with lemon butter šŸ”„ sauce and mashed smashed potatoes. Tried the spaghetti this time and linguini last time- those were sub-par & nothing special. The *hot, fresh* breas that you can dumk is the olive oil blens is one of my favorite parts of the meal! That's a bonus eveytime you visit! We also got the calamari appetizer- the sauce was extremely good and it came with calamari (both baby šŸ™ and larger pieces). The first time the service was great (we had a newer male waiter being trained and he was fantastic!!). The person I was with the second time got lobster mac and they said it was decent. This waitress was okay but she only visited like 3 times the whole meal (the greeting for drinks, second visit being taking our order, and third asking if we wanted a box) but they were busy. Just under $70 both times for two people. Definitely try it if you haven't!
