HORRIBLE!!! This place is ridiculous and we will definitely not be returning! My family and I just moved here about a month ago and are big-time foodies. We have explored a lot of the wonderful options we have around here, all have been great! Welcoming, wholesome experiences...and then we tried Sidelines 1...complete opposite! For starters, as we are being walked to our table all I can see is filth and food everywhere, both tables & floor; silverware, sour cream/ranch spots, multiple napkins and just half eaten food everywhere you looked. Should have turned around there but we were committed and wanted to at least give them a shot. Then our waitress makes her way to our table, rushing and not welcoming at all. We explained it was our first time and we asked 2 questions about menu items, both of which we didn't get definitive answers. We reluctantly ordered an appetizer (pretzel bites) which came with the smallest portion of cheese I've ever seen (gone within about 4 pieces of the pretzel bites) so we ordered a side of honey mustard and ranch, not knowing their little dollop of a condiment would cost .99 cents a piece!! We then waited almost a half hour for our entrees...food wasn't horrible but almost every item they offer is spicy, definitely not a kid friendly menu. But heres the part that blew our minds and made us not want to come back...my wife ordered a side salad ($1.99 in the menu) with her knock-out burger (worst burger we've had so far; dry, overcooked, and no flavor but that's beside the point) but when we received the bill, her salad was not $1.99...IT WAS $5.49!! When we asked our waitress why it was so expensive and not the $1.99 like advertised all she could say was that my wife didn't order it as a side so it would be $5.49...HUH!?! ITS A SIDE SALAD...ON THE SIDE! Isn't that the definition? But anyway, I asked her to show me in the menu where it says that it would cost $5.49, it's nowhere in the menu, only the $1.99 price...at this point the waitress became irritated and basically just gave us the cold shoulder until we paid the bill and left. This place is a rip off and not worth the...
Read moreAwful experience. Now the place was busy, otherwise I would have gave 1 star, but the service was still bad. I ordered sirloin beef tips at $15.99. The picture on the menu was vastly different from what was put in front of me. On the menu it stated they served fresh vegetables. If by fresh they meant frozen food service vegetables, then I guess they were fresh. Mashed potatoes and gravy same bland quality. My beef tips were over cooked and dry, ordered medium, sent them back, came back over cooked again. I also waited five minutes for utensils. I know beef tips can be tricky but if they get sent back for being over cooked, one would think they would cone back right the second time. Funny thing is they have pictures on their menu of what each way meat should appear according to how you order it. The waitress, who was at least nice and attentive, said she would get the manager. She then came back and stated the manager was in a meeting with one of the bartenders. We waited fifteen minutes! I guess the bartender was more important. I will NEVER go back to here or any other restaurant...
Read moreI will say I normally go to the Telegraph Sidelines. But we were on that side of town. I got the Saturday special. I turned back my entire plate because the wings were terrible, I think they might precook them for the special or something. They were gross, tasted old. The fries were room temperature and hard. The ribs were actually good! But it wasn't worth the hassle of getting new wings and fries. I didn't want anything else. You would think the manager would want to check in when a guest turns back their entire plate without ordering something else but no one checked on us. Paid our tab and left. I'll go back to my normal "garbage balls" next time. Service was good, I could tell our waitress was new so I didn't want to go "full Karen" on her. Still giving 4 stars because service was good, my boyfriend enjoyed his meatball grinder, and all the times I've eaten at Telegraph the food has...
