After the last Hardee's in town closed (It was a complete dump) and a brand new one opened, I was holding out hope that they had gotten a bit better. Pulled up to the drive thru at 8:05, girl working drive through finally managed to take my order at 8:14 despite only 1 car sitting at the window. Turns out they hadn't ordered anything, they were just hanging out and talking.
Ordered #3 Frisco Burger, just the burger A 3 piece chicken tender w/ BBQ A large fry & a chili dog.
Sat at the window for a solid 15 seconds with the girl at the open window but talking to their coworker while I was holding my card out. Coworker finally motioned for her to take my card and to pay attention.
Proceeded to wait 15 minutes while they made my food? No comment from them such as "hey, we need to make xyz fresh so it'll be a wait".
While I was waiting for my food, I proceed to watch the girl make several other meals while coughing into her hands. Thankfully after she made several shakes for someone, she rinsed them in the sink. At least she made the attempt to clean her hands?
She finally came back to the window and needed to ask what I ordered. Proceeded to give me my food without so much of a "sorry for the wait" but she did give a half hearted "Have a good night" that sounded sarcastic at best.
Checked my bag and thankfully it was all there. Drove back to my place which is a mile away and all of the food other than the tenders were cold.
Notes on the food. -The frisco burger was the second saddest one I've ever had. At least it was "toasted" though, if only for the minimum amount of time needed to make it noticeable. -The hotdog? That was the worst thing I think I've ever seen, but it sure had chili on it. -French Fries were cold and stale. These had to have been around all day. -Chicken tenders were hot and fresh and the smallest things I've ever seen, and the didn't give me the bbq sauce. Shame on me for not noticing it wasn't in the bag.
No thank you to this place. I'm not surprised that they have a metric ton of 1's. If it could be lower, I'm sure it would be. They should be ashamed, but it's fast food, and I'm sure no...
Read moreWe as a family of 4 decided to eat at this new Hardee's. My son ordered a #7 but got a #8. I ordered a #1 and specifically asked for cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sliced onions, pickles, and mayo. When my burger came, it had ketchup on it. If my son's order had been correct, I would have ignored the ketchup on my burger and eaten it as it was. However, I figured I paid for it so I might as well get what I paid for. The second burger I received had ketchup, mustard and cheese only. You must be joking right! I took it back and while I was trying to let them know that it was still not right, we heard an employee (the whole restaurant heard her) say I'm not making a 3rd burger and mentioned just give them a refund. I did request a 3rd burger because I was very hungry, and this one came back w/mustard and cheese only. Unbelievable... because by this time I had mentioned multiple times I wanted a #1 w/cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sliced onions, pickles, and mayo. I wasn't even being rude. I was visibly frustrated but not rude. Moving on... after this, they sent a young man to our table to write down my order. I said again... I want a #1 w/cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sliced onions, pickles, and mayo. The 4th burger was a cold patty w/un-melted cheese, some crap lettuce, hardly any onions, a crap slice of tomato (not tomatoes as in the description), and no pickles or mayo. Instead of mayo, they gave me 2 mayo packets. We decided to leave at this point. I will say we actually paid more for our food than we should have. A #8 cost more than a #7. In all my life, I've never experienced anything close to this type of service. Seriously, I'm w/out words. How could something this simple go soooo wrong? Needless to say, we will never go back to this Hardee's and likely avoid going to any Hardee's in the future after...
Read morePlaced an order via the app. We pull into the drive thru: "Will you be using the app?" We respond "Yes". The speaker responds "what can I get for you?". After 2-3 minutes of us explaining that we placed an order on the app and want to pick it up, she told us to go to the first window. No order verification, we weren't asked a name, an order number or even what we ordered. We go to the window and are handed an anonymous bag of food without being asked anything to confirm who we were or what we ordered. When we asked how did they know this was my order, the young man simply said "she handed it to me". So after this shakey interaction we find the order was "ours". And it was incomplete and inaccurate. And cold. The crew responded like zombies. I'm not sure or confident in there skill at preparing food and or food safety procedures. This was our 2nd attempt at this specific location. We won't...
