Absolutely awful customer service! Waited almost 2 HOURS for a 40 minute online order and part of the meal was wrong! Been a customer for literally YEARS and have watched this location go severely downhill in the past 18 months. Manager carries an attitude, out of 8 or 9 staff working customer's salads and cold items were being put together when the customer came in for pick up instead of simple things like salads having been done when their order was complete. Called twice from parking lot for curbside, waited 25 minutes and no one ever came out, went in and waited ANOTHER 25 minutes in the lobby along side 8-10 other customers that came in at the same time or shortly after me, all to discover part of our large family order was wrong. When manager finally came to see what was wrong, I questioned a comp on just that meal because now I had to wait another 10 minutes. Her snotty remarks and that of another uninvolved employee were completely uncalled for. I'll drive to lagrange or Carrollton before I place another $100+ order with the Bedford, Ky location! Never have I ever witnessed such attitude and unorganized management with any Hometown location, and I go back to my youth to visiting the lagrange location. Save yourself the TIME because that's what was wasted. Now my household gets to eat mediocre temp food, 2 HOURS since I placed my online order!! I wouldn't even be leaving a review if this were a first time occurrence, but myself and another customer that was waiting for their food chatted about how orders are consistently wrong or food isn't cooked all the way, so it isn't just me. I worked for one when I was around 18 and I couldn't have been more disgusted by the owners and management's attitudes and some practices. The owner of hometown is one of the biggest self absorbed losers I have ever had the displeasure of working for, he treats the hourly employees as his personal slaves, making them come to his house in Lagrange and work for him doing whatever off the clock with threats of firing and no pay. The worst thing though, never NEVER order the Hometown Special because he makes employees sweep up all the topping that falls on the tables and sits there for hours uncooled and one manager off the floor, put it in the sausage bin and use that for the special. If you try to explain that 1 pizza and a salad is not 46 dollars, so obviously a pizza is missing. But nope it must cause extreme physical pain to correct the order. Another time my wife ordered and I picked up our food on the way home from work. After arriving home my wife's sandwich was missing. Called and explained it was missing they denied at first until I asked if a sandwich was setting by the register waiting to be picked up....eureka!!! I asked for a refund to my card but no the girl on the phone stated she "rather not issue a refund" turns out she didn't know how and had to get the manager.
