Steck's North Deli — Restaurant in Bedminster Township

Possibly the worst place to get a sub in this town, would rather go to quick check....

First of all don't go here if your time matters to you in the slightest. Multiple times I've called in an order and been told 15 minutes, only to arrive 30 minutes later to the place being empty and my sandwich not even being started yet. If you walk in off the street expect to be ignored for a solid 20 minutes (unless you're latino, they for whatever reason help latino people right away) before they even take your order. There is literally no sense of urgency or duty with the employees here, you are regularly treated like you're beneath them.

On top of all this the food isn't even good, it's incredibly mediocre and tastes about as half assed as the service is. The only reason I gave them 2 stars instead of 1 is because I didn't get food poisoning from their sandwiches which is a plus I guess.

Long story short; don't bother with this place. Go across the street to Annies deli for far better service, speed, and food quality, or go down the road to Roccos pizzeria if you're craving a...

Rude staff; they don’t aknowledge you even when you are right in front of them. Ordered one sandwich 20 minutes before I picked up went in and up to the register and was not greeted by Carlos who wasn’t standing there. Then proceeded to help others who were standing around waiting. Finally after two people were helped before me I walked over to the woman and told her I ordered over the phone 20 minutes ago and she proceeded to tell me I had to fo to the register I said I had already been there for ignored and was not aknowledged. Back over to the register where Carlos was defensive; I simply said I just want to pay for my meal and go I don’t need an explanation.

This hasn’t been the first time either with rudeness.

Decent sandwiches They just get too busy at lunch and don't have a good system for handling it. If u go and order, u wait for 15 mins or so. If u call ahead, when u arrive u have to somehow go to the register between them calling the names of everyone who ordered in. Then u get the death stare from people who have been waiting Most times u walk in and someone is paying at the register and before they walk away another name is called.
