Oasis Cafe — Restaurant in Belen

Confusion...that's my best description. The pictures in Google are Glamour shots. It's buffet which consists of one small buffet bar of American breakfast items (eggs, potatoes, biscuits and gravy, ect...) And a smaller buffet bar of salad which consists of tomatoes, lettuce, cheese and a few other things. We ordered sweet tea and they brought us some green peach tea. It's also has menu items but they don't tell you this until you've already started on the buffet. Finally, let's talk price for this, $70.00 and for four buffets. I absolutely DO NOT think it was worth the money. The staff were really friendly though. I barely ate anything and my son had to walk out he was so disappointed.. Oh and it was breakfast at 1 in the afternoon. I hate giving bad reviews and was gonna be nice and give a little better review but our friend who paid for the meal told us how much he paid for this disappointment and I couldn't keep my...

I walk in. The waitress says sit anywhere. I sit down. Another couple comes minutes later and sit down. They go and help this couple first. Ok. A waitress comes finally to bring a menu and asked what I want to drink. A sweet tea please. Apparently NO ONE IN NEW MEXICO KNOWS SWEET TEA... she says all we have is unsweet... Is that okay... NO IT'S NOT.. I say no.. I'll take water. Why did she need to roll her eyes.. 2 minutes later..IF THAT.... More like a minute she asks am I ready to order.. I remind her that she lists literally just gave me the menu... I'm going to need a few more minutes.. Again rolls her eyes and walks away.. NOPE NOT TODAY.... It's too hot for that BS. . And the last time I checked.. servers make 2 bucks an hour... Maybe try... Uhm.. I don't know... Maybe try to be just a little...

I do not recommend!! Our order was placed on the phone. We were told 20 minutes when we got there it wasn't ready and the cook came out of the back speaking in Spanish throwing his arms up rudely saying in Spanish that it was not ready and wouldn't be for an hour and walked to the back angrily... So we told the lady up front to cancel our order. We called back to speak to the owner but he wasn't there so we left a message for him to call us back as we were told he would be there in an hour. He never called. P.s. this is our second time trying this place of business the first time was at the Rio Communities location and our order was not made correctly and was not very good quality wise but we tried to give them a second shot and nope...
