Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Belfast

The customer service is lacking here but that's most fast food places. We came here because augusta don't have the grill and chill part, just the regular dairy queen. I love how dairy queen serves burgers and fries, when you go to dairy queen your first thought isn't you want burgers but the burgers here are probably the best burgers I've ever had anywhere. Whatever they do to the burgers make them ten times better then other restaurants or even mcdonalds. The prices are pretty much what you would pay anywhere else. Parking at this location was decent and they accept debit/credit or cash. This particular location was freezing inside but I'm assuming it's because it's technically a ice cream store. They have an advanced soda machine with several different variations of flavors which was a big highlight.

Other than not the best customer service and how cold it was inside the building, I was happy to try it because the burgers were amazing and I definitely recommend you try them. Ask for extra cheese on them. Super yummy. The soda machine is the best. I just went to this grill and chill for lunch on my way back from work. Before I left I ordered a blizzard. First of all, I had a special order on my blizzard. The girl that took my order should have turned around and have made it before going on break. I asked for a butterfinger cheesecake blizzard with one scoop of the graham base that they put in the royal New York cheesecake. The girl taking my order went on break right after taking my order and continued to make her own food and sundae while I waited. It took the others 15 mins to make it. Once the girl was done making it she went around asking people if it was there’s. Then when she finally delivered it to me, it was made incredibly wrong. There was no cheesecake and way to much graham base. I use to work at a Dairy Queen so I asked her to confirm there was only one scoop of graham base. The hesitation before she had said yes told me there was way more. Very strongly disappointed with my visit. I ended up throwing out the $8 blizzard for the fact that it had to much graham base and I dug through it to find there wasn’t any cheesecake, which to me was the reason...

Food was as good as could be expected. It's dairy queen, after all. I felt it was very expensive, more so than it was worth. Only two tables in the front of the restaurant. Not because there wasn't space, but because there was maintenance and construction in the other seating areas. The drink dispenser was out of order so the workers promised to fill our drinks behind the counter, this took an additional 10 minutes to complete the order. Many of us waited a long time for our food, then Longer for our drinks. The serving staff were polite, but seemed under prepared and under trained. They were serving drive through and seating areas at the same time, seemingly overwhelming them. The workers are clearly doing their best but are not well equipped and clearly management is too stingy to focus on one problem at a time.
