This is a special UP YOURS to the policy makers of Wendy's. Approximately 10:00pm, I arrive to the hotel next to your location on Jack Rabbit. I check in, get to my room, look out my window, there is a Wendy's. I just got off a 3.5 hour that did NOT serve food, because all airlines are not serving food. I haven't eaten since lunch time and I am pretty hungry. I walk next door to place an order to go but the doors are locked. I walk over to drive thru window to place an order, but the nice young lady politely told me they didn't accept walk ups after giving her my order. I asked if she was serious, and she replied she was. She could not do this do due company policy. Young lady was doing her job and no ill will or feelings towards her. However, HAD I KNOWN THIS, I WOULD HAVE STAYED IN MY UBER AND GONE THROUGH DRIVE THRU. Everyone else is closed around me, and I have to be up early in the morning, so now I have to wait on my food to be delivered AND pay an extra fee on top of all this. Read moreI spent 30 plus for burgers and fries. 10 at night, no one else in the drive through but me. The only modifier was NO MAYO ON EITHER BURGER. We get home, plate our dinner, squirt a bottle of ketchup on plates in anticipation of our hot fries, unwrap burgers, and.. Mayo. On not just one, but both. Chris at the window got the order right, receipt says so. Now my wife is driving back to get our food fixed at almost midnight while her fries are getting cold. This is a HUGE inconvenience. I'm not happy. I gave the charitable favorable stars for only one thing that was right about this visit, and that was Chris's willingness to do whatever it took to make me happy. I'm still not happy, my wife's fries are cold and she's burning my gas to fix this mistake, but Chris tried. Get it together Wendy's belgrade. I expect a compensation offering. You should also give Chris the recognition and the money and the job of running one of your locations, because he was the only thing good...
Read moreAgainst my better judgement, I took a delivery from this Wendy's. I'd never picked up here before, but based on previous experience with other Wendy's I hoped the interaction would turn out well, but my hopes were to met with disappointment.
In contrast to other fast food chains which treat people with respect, the lady wearing a black shirt treated me disrespectfully. I don't understand why rudeness is a way of life for the Wendy's chain, but it's a fact of how they do business. Basically it comes down to their leadership.
At other famous fast food chains they are doing something right, but the leadership of Wendy's is doing something very wrong.
I would humbly recommend avoiding this Wendy's location for lack...
