Jolly Boy Burgers — Restaurant in Bell Gardens

This new guy I'm dating didn't offer to pay for my gas last night so I knew he was looking for something cheap with good food. When we pulled up, we were a little hesitant, because it looked suspect. The menu didn't have prices and the mic wasn't working. Once we pulled up to the window to order, the girl that greeted us put us at ease. She was super nice, friendly, and helpful. 10/10. We ordered a breakfast sandwich and hamburger special. It was $20 which I was worried might have been a little too steep for my date, but we just rolled with it and thought, "the food better be good." We didn't wait too long for our food, and then asked for a side of thousand island. She must have seen the look of panic on our faces when she said $20, because she was nice enough to not charge us for sauce. Once he seen the amount of food we got, he was able to breathe a little better. Once we tasted the food, we were FLOORED. Everything was amazing. The taste and freshness was on point. I think he was convinced that it was worth the 20 bucks. We will definitely be back. Well, at least I will. Let's see if he makes the cut. He bought me Starbucks after to make up...

Worse place. I used to come yrs ago, but when I was pregnant of my son I was 6mnths pregnant and craving fries. I ordered fries EXTRA EXTRA crispy. When I received my order and got home I started eating but then I noticed the fries were white, they looked not fully cooked. I called to complain and they didn't offer a refund or food to get re-done.. I had to be taken to ER..for food poising. The fries were still raw. And today I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt, and I called to place an order. The young girl answered and tolde to hold. After being on hold for 5 nd hearing her actively helping other customers, she hung up. I show up to the restaurant to see what happened?. It was only 8:40pm. When I tried to open the door, it was already closed and the young girl was mopping. But it says they close at 9pm. NOT 9:30pm. When I tried to tell her, She hung up on me she put her hands up to shut me up and said: "SORRRRRYYYYYY". Then she walked dropped the mop and walked to the back door aggressively, like if she was going to fight me. So unprofessional and so ghetto. And they close earlier than the time say time they claim they close....

Wow I went today evening, to try the chilli fries that a friend recommended me, wow.... delicious, I'm a picky person when it comes to chilli fries now I know where to go and buy my chilli fries. Also the service was good the cashier lady was so kind and helpful when I asked her what can she recommend between burger or pastrami she said that the pastrami was good so I ordered that too, omg.... finally I've tasted a pastrami that it was perfect for me not salty or dry was delicious too, that was a good recommendation from that cashier she knows was good in that place, besides she was so kind and had a big smile on her face, you don't see that around so much, also in good humor too. Definitely I'm going back to that place but I hope that the same cashier is there with that positive attitude of...
