Treasure Island Park — Attraction in Downey

Secluded therefore quiet. Access to Rio Hondo bike path. BBQ grills and some covered as well as uncovered eating benches (not many though). Small playground area for kids. Small, quiet, not very crowded, but they no longer have a dog water fountain - bummer! We come here for walks with our dog who enjoys the winding trail and bushes to smell on either side of the park. Nice park for a decent walk through and back. Has dog friendly entrances and exits equipped with doggy bags and trash cans. This park has multiple openings to surrounding houses and some entrances to the riverbed that connects to the LA river. Decent parking, never busy. Beware the mosquitos however.
