Horrible service. Rude girl works the window. Food is wrong so often you have to hold up the drive thru line to double check it because every other visit there is something missing. Made the mistake one too many times of going home to someone not getting their order. Everytime I've called its been no apology just come back and get it-which is no solution to their mistake to inconvenience customers to do that. It just gets old after a while. It's more of an inconvenience to go wait in the drive thru forever just to have to turn around and come back to again sit in line at the drive thru because they won't bring it out to you. You order at the window so there's no reading the menu to understand it before ordering. I once asked her if the small sandwich came with sides she quickly responded, "no sandwich comes with sides. It comes with chips and a pickle" like I was supposed to know this. Which.... chips is a side to me, but okay that's fine. So, you don't get a "side", you pay separately for fries (or whatever side you want). The inside is closed. They are closed on Sundays. And because I'm frustrated with them, I'm gonna go there- only chic fil a can be closed on sundays. I like the food and because it is in an isolated area with very few restaurants which is why I continue to give it a shot and why it does...
Read moreI like to read the negative reviews and I am constantly amazed by how picky some people are. We are from Austin, Texas where there is a plethora (that means many for those who are vocabulary challenged) of Bbq restaurants. First, there are very few places, anywhere that have brisket this good for as little money as you pay for a pound of brisket. Some of the negative reviews note the lack of smoke flavor. I disagree with those reviews. Some places have an overwhelming smoke flavor in their meat that takes away from the brisket itself. Bubba's has a good mild smoke flavor that does not overwhelm but complements the meat. I am a brisket and sausage man so admittedly I did not try any of the pork. The spicy sausage was very good. I have never had dry brisket here and LOVE the spicy bbq sauce. As far as the wait in the drive thru, it does occasionally take a while but in the 8-10 times I have been there I have never waited more than 15 minutes. Common sense tells you that there are certain times that are busier than others, such as noon, so why not just time it right? The restaurant employees can't be responsible when customers have large orders that take longer than usual. Overall, this place is great and has very good brisket at very low prices. I'm a regular...
Read moreThis was average q. Ribs had an ok flavor, but overcooked, as they were way too "falling of the bone". Didn't really have a smoked flavor, and not much rub flavor.
Brisket was average. And sliced way too thin... Appeared to be sliced not by hand, but with a commercial slicer... Not much smoke flavor....
The bomb apps were underwhelming... Mostly cream cheese and very little bacon/jalapeno pieces...
Sauce was pretty good. The hot had a bit of a kick.
Also, this place is drive through only ... No carry out. Crazy to make people wait in a long line... And when I say drive through it's literally a long line of cars and you order when you get to the window. So you can be waiting a long long time.
The other snafu was that we called in advance to place our order. She said if there's a line in the drive-thru just call them and they will bring it out. Well they must not have hung up the phone from when I called because it was busy. After trying for about 12 minutes it was still busy so I had to walk up to the...
