The best part of the meal was the server seemed like she was the only server working but it seemed like she really cared I give her 5 stars. The food for the price was below average for $30 the steak wasn't great it was definitely select beef and it wasn't really seasoned all that great. The side salad it came with was pretty lifeless just the prepackaged stuff from the grocery the blue cheese was pretty decent though. The mash potatoes seemed like packaged mash potatoes they are definitely not your normally steak house mash potatoes. The best part to me other than the lovely server was the bread stick. Bill came to $34 and some change but the server was so awesome I gave them $50. It might be worth trying something else other then their steak which sounds weird to say about a steakhouse but it is what it is.

While visiting from MN, for the Sturgis Rally, we stopped at The Branding Iron Steakhouse for lunch. There was about 18 of us in our group, which usually makes the staff stress- not this staff! Roxi (our serveršŸ’Æ) and her coworkers did an AMAZING job. Quick drinks, accurate orders, and over-the-top customer service! Although she had never heard of it, when we requested it and they didn't have it, Roxi whipped up seasoned sour cream for us. She also insisted we try their famous fried pickles although they're not like the pickle chips back home- they were delicious! We had a great time and will be sure to go back next year.

As a full time RV Nomad, I look forward to heading in to town(s) and taking care of my business while enjoying local eateries and businesses. I eyed Branding Iron a couple times driving past and I wish I drove past ...

Listen, the place is well decorated for a bar and the cars in the parking lot tells me they have something to offer other than mediocre at best food.

I was excited to try the 'Alaskan Amber Fried Cod' and I eyed it perusing the menu before arrival! What I received in return for my ordering the Alaskan Amber was 3 or 4 fish sticks that would rival anything you would put in your toaster oven at home and a roll on a plate! My pasta salad came on the side along with the lackluster salad it was served with.

The server was pleasant and I find the people in and around this area very pleasant as well ... But to walk out of this restaurant down $30+ after being served fish sticks with a fancy name makes me an unhappy customer that wished he spend his money elsewhere.

I wish I took a picture of my Gordon's Fisherman's platter!

If I ever go back there, which is doubtful because I don't drink anymore and enjoy quality food, I will try a burger or a steak.

If you people can get away with serving fish sticks marketed as 'Alaskan Amber' ... Good for you! šŸ† For an amazing bottle of Budweiser and some fish sticks ... Go to...

I had this place booked in advance for months for my baby shower. Who ever I talked to told me we had the place booked for the first of march and everything was set up and good to go. We called them to confirm the place and ask some questions about the venue and all the sudden they didn’t have me booked and knew nothing of me booking the place. They even booked another event on the day we had scheduled. Would absolutely not recommend booking them for an event because they probably won’t get you scheduled and then you will be left screwed trying to find another place the night before your event. The communication with them is absolute trash. If you do book with them make sure it is in writing and they actually have you...
