DO NOT GO HERE EVER! I very rarely ever post a bad review, I will do so only if a place is truly deserving of it. We were passing through tonight and my blood sugar was low so I submitted an order through the app thinking we could just swing through here, pick it up and be right back on our way. That's how it SHOULD have gone.
When we pulled in at 9:45pm, there was 1 car at each speaker in the drive thru with no one else in front of them so we pull in behind one and wait. And we wait, and we wait...over 5 minutes waiting behind this car and no one has taken their order. Finally they pull ahead and we get to the speaker. The woman said "Give me a minute." That minute ended up being more than 5 minutes. We already ordered through the app. All we wanted to do was give our code. I'm checking the app to see if we can transfer our order to another store, or cancel, or call customer service. No, no and no. Since we already paid, we are stuck waiting here. Finally after more than 10 minutes of waiting here, we give our code and pull forward. There are 2 cars ahead of us at the window, the same 2 that were at the speaker when we pulled in. While we waited, I was looking at all of the terrible reviews this place has received with the same issues of rudeness and length of time spent waiting and wishing I had seen this before ordering here.
By the time we got up to the window, 45 minutes have passed. The lady at the window didn't greet us and asked what we ordered. Seriously?! We tell her our order and she grabs a bag, shoves it out the window at us and hands us an orange drink. We didn't order any beverages. I quickly check the bag. It was missing 2 pies but at this point I didn't really care so we left. I have never in my life sat in a drive through waiting for 45 minutes!! 😡 Thankfully, as a Type 1 diabetic, I had something with me to bring my sugar back up. If I didn't and was stuck here waiting for 45 minutes, I would have literally died!
These people are rude and they clearly do NOT care at all. We don't pass through here very often but we will for sure NEVER come to this location ever again. Absolutely ridiculous and completely unacceptable! They aren't deserving of 1 star but unfortunately I can't...
Read moreI was asked to cover a shift for McDonald's in Belleville IL at 125 s belt east Belleville IL 62220. It was very busy and only two of us for most of the night. At about 5am the manager on duty had taken apart the fry warmer station and while doing so had spilled a trail of grease from the station to the sinks in the back. Instead of cleaning it up. Which in my 5+ years of being in Management myself is the most important thing to do. Making sure your workers have a safe workplace was grossly neglected. The manager left this slick greesfiled walkway " from the front of the stores work area to the back, spanding more than 25 feet" and proceed to take an order. Not telling anyone else that the was a Hazzard and to either delegate to another to clean it up or clean it up himself. I walked from the grill area to the other side where they fry fries and hash browns. Not knowing that there was grease everywhere on the floor. I slid and starting to fall was stopped by the table that was beside me. I hit with such force that I moved the table over a foot. This is a steal table four foot tall and four foot by 2 foot wide. My left wrist took all of the contract with the table. I informed the manager of what had happened and went to the restroom to check my injury. After about 10 min I returned and the mess was still there. I proceed with my injury to clean the Hazzard before someone else got hurt. At this time another employee grabbed the mop from my hand and said he was going to clean it up. I informed the three managers their that as a manager the have to keep their crew safe and that I sustained my injury over neglect and of proper training on their part as well as their Managements lack of training and ability to run a safe and well maintained work area and environment. At this time a female manager came out from the office with a odious look on her face being rude and very defensive about my statements. Then asked if I wanted to file an injury report which I replied yes. Before she wrote up the report she informed me that I was terminated and to clock out and leave. I am appalled and shocked by the lack of professionalism and uter disregard for...
Read moreWaited in the drive-through in the inner lane while 3 orders were taken in the outer one in a row. I tried to talk to them but no response. I backed out and got in the outer lane behind 3 vehicles only to have another car grab the inner lane and get their order in right away. Then the guy at the 2nd window doesn't know what my order is, asks me if I have a Coke, hands me a coke and a happy meal and tells me to have a good day. I let him know that I was still missing the adult meal and a drink for the happy meal. He brings me back my meal but no drink still. I have to remind him again. There is a screen right there, and my order is on it. It's not that hard.
Then both my sons and my fries stank as if they were cooked with burnt plastic. The smell filled up the car and made my son feel sick to the point he demanded the window be rolled down all the way. My burger was flavorless for some reason (more so than usual), like it wasn't even meat. And then it was also sloppily constructed with onions and mustard and ketchup sliding out all of the sides. (Way too much mustard)
They were polite, and I was polite. But in the end this is a management problem. No one is holding these kids and young adults to any kind of standards, procedures, or ideals. When prices go up as far as they have, quality starts to makes a big difference. There are all kinds of other fast food restaurants I can go to that will provide me the exact same passable service with the exact same expected mediocre quality food every time. Because that's what they are selling, consistency, and this restaurant has none.
I will not soon be...
