McDonald's — Restaurant in Bellingham

Worst service I've had at any McDonalds in whatcom county. I am following up with corporate on this terrible experience. I will do a follow up post after I receive a call back.

*update: corporate was very efficient in responding this morning which is very appreciated. So staff of Bakerview i wanted to share a few things I have learned this morning 1: just because you dont want to make food items that take longer ie: the new chicken sandwich, chicken strips, etc doesn't mean you actually CAN'T make them if requested and the customer is willing to pull forward. 2: if you deny making any items on the menu because of your drive thru times it is against company policy. 3: you cannot force a customer to pull forward to wait on fries (had you made the food we wanted to begin with I would have moved btw). 4: Telling a customer in exact words "well it's your fu%$!g fault the customer behind you has to wait for a drink" isn't how you've been trained. Placed a online order at ten 30 and got to location before 11. They refused to make my order. After I proved it was ordered before I got there and it's not my fault they had line at the drive-thru that took a while to get through they said they would only be able to make me cheeseburgers and fries. Our order contained nuggets chickens Happy meals enough food for a family of six. And all they could make us was cheeseburgers and fries. And additionally I will not see a refund on my canceled order for 48 hours. The app says you're open till midnight Google says you're open till midnight. We ordered at 10:30 we should be able to get our food as we ordered it. This location continues to be problematic often we don't get sauce for our nuggets. Things are often missing. And now I wait in line for 20 minutes after driving out of my way to get food for my family and I'm told that oh I'm sorry we can't make your food even though you've been charged for it and you ordered it before we closed....

An awful experience. Asked for fresh chocolate chip cookies only to receive reheated cookies. The difference is significant and disappointing. After waiting 4 minutes parked, we got our cookies, but not the rest of our order. The employee told us it would be about 5 minutes for everything else. In total it was: 1 Lg Coke 2 Lg Fries 2 Ch. cookies (fresh) The wait time, overall, was 20 minutes. We saw 6 cars get their food and leave before us. This is just a road trip snack, not a meal. After the extra 5 minutes waiting for the fries we were asked to wait another minute. I am glad that the fries were free, but it’s not enough to make up for this upsetting visit. This lone star is for the amazing employee who ran out multiple times to communicate with us. He was polite, he apologized, and he had no control of the issues with our order. Wish I had his name.
