Dita’s on the West Side — Restaurant in Beloit

I appreciate the consistently excellent food at Dita’s during my two most recent visits. However, the loud atmosphere, particularly near the server station, impacted the dining experience. On both occasions, servers' loud conversations and yelling were disruptive. Opting for a quieter spot this time didn't fully resolve it, as a server across the room continued to shout to the kitchen. Additionally, the extra charge for substituting chicken seemed unnecessary when I asked to remove the other meat from the meal. Both times I asked for this change the charge was inconsistent, seemingly unnecessary to begin with. My skillet originally being $13, now $17. My mother left with a headache from the servers being extra loud. Despite the years of coming here, the noise levels and extra charges left me contemplating a break from dining at Dita’s...

My Wife and I went to Dita's for the Friday fish fry and we are glad we did! This place is clean, bright and the staff was very friendly. We both chose the two piece walleye dinner that we ordered with coleslaw, tater tots, clam chowder soup and fresh warm bread. The sizable clam chowder was very tasty and hardy, the coleslaw was flavored just to my liking and the tots are tots. The fresh warm bread was a nice touch when spread with butter. The walleye was absolutely delicious with a light non greasy, tasty batter. The two filets both near 10 inches long were more than filling so we ended up taking some home. The pricing was very reasonable with large portions of the best walleye we have had in a long time. I strongly recommend you try Dita's fish fry, you won't regret it. As for us..... We...

Came in for breakfast and was sadly disappointed. The atmosphere was decent, waitstaff decently friendly, we were a group of 3 ordered standard menu items and took roughly 45 mins for our food to arrive at the table. Waffle was cold, bacon cold, scrambled eggs tasted like they were out of a box, the sausage scorching hot. The other two ordered breakfast sandwiches 1 turned out decent, the other one requested tomato, onion, and green pepper to be added to the scrambled eggs and instead were added on it raw.
