Normally I have been very satisfied with this business but today was by far the worst experience. We drive 30 plus minutes to purchase meat from them because in the past they wrapped our meat in package sizes that were appropriate for our family size and the meat has always been exceptional. Today when I requested they wrap the steaks in 2’s I was informed that with 3 customers in the store they were to busy to accommodate that request. This review is intended to assist and enlighten. On Friday last week my wife and I stopped in to purchase steaks for what was a special weekend. I purchased a one pound ribeye, 2 10oz ribeyes and 2 sale NY Strips (8.99 per). The quality of the meat was NOT GOOD. Extremely tough!! ALL of the steaks. Quite surprising from what is supposed to be a “High Quality” “renowned “ operation. The young man behind the counter was good at his work and personable, otherwise 1 star. Usually favorite place to get meat but not after opening my steaks today! I ordered 7, 10 oz ribeyes Sunday for dinner tomorrow. I pulled the steaks out to marinade them today and I paid for 7 and they only gave me 6. That's $10 extra dollars for a steak I never received and a steak short for a Thanksgiving dinner. Last time I got steaks I asked for 4, 10 oz ribeyes, I got home and there were 3 ribeyes and 1 New York strip. Not what I asked for but at least there was enough for everyone.
