The Snack Shop — Restaurant in Beloit

As a retired restaurant owner I was appalled. Served yesterday's coffee, told waitress coffee was cold she had cook warm it up rather than make a new pot. Food came jelly was spoiled had to ask for new toast. Half way through my omelet I found a hair cooked into food showed waitress (owners daughter) She took plate never offered to replace or apologize. Was charged full price, had to ask for every refill of coffee. Place was dirty, kitchen area was clean. Another table came in and cook left came back carrying a grocery bag from Woodman's before he started cooking order. Definitely do...

Delicious!! We were traveling through town and stopped at the Snack Shop for lunch. Bradley recommended the chicken fried steak special. The large portion of chicken fried steak was smothered in a delicious sausage gravy, two perfectly cooked eggs, hash browns and toast for $10.00. My wife enjoyed an awesome tasty bacon cheeseburger. Breakfast at the Snack Shop was fantastic. We arrived after a large group, so the food took slightly longer than expected. However, our server was outstanding. She ensured our coffee was always full and hot, and she even brought out my toddler son's food early so he didn't have to wait as long. The food was definitely worth the wait.
