Country Donuts & Kolaches — Restaurant in Belton

This little spot is a lovely local find. If you're local, it will likely already be on your radar. If you're not and you're looking for a quick yet tasty doughnut and kolache spot, stop here.

Not a location that you'd be dining in to eat, but if you want to quickly grab and go, this is your spot. Walk ins and drive thru is open, and unlike other spots I've been to in the area, there is usually the grab of the entire menu at your fingertips in the morning hours (they are great about restocking).

Higher quality food for the price you are paying for as well - we can usually get more than enough doughnuts AND kolaches for a family of 4 with Mama's coffee (🙃) for...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️The donuts are the freshest, softest, melt in your mouth donuts I've had in the 12 years I've been in Texas this time ...like clouds of Heaven...far better than other shops I've tried and the grocery stores. GREAT pick me up and mood booster. The coffee is a PERFECT compliment to the donuts, not overpowering sweet or bitter. Originally I thought it odd for her to mix the cream and sugar in my coffee but she does an EXCELLENT job at the ratio. Very nice persona, pretty smile, professional customer service. Bad. False advertising. First of all, there are no kolaches to be found here. They have a variety of pigs, but not one kolache. Their donuts were dry and hard, maybe unless you got just plain..didn't try those. My gripe is I like local. Local is usually better than big chain like Shipley's. So I went out of my way to this place thinking I was going to grab a great kolache and some donuts. Nope! Just some hard apple fritter with very little apples and a bear claw that was cold and dry, and some hard cold donut holes. I didn't want a "pig"....
