I received their menu in my mail slot this week and was amazed at the selections. Though I am now a proud Philadelphia resident for the past 2 decades, I was born and raised in Newark, NJ, and lived in Essex County for 45 years! My Dad loved to cook and my Mom made an incredible home made tomato sauce, whose aroma was our alarm clock on Sundays. Dad would often make homemade pizza on Saturday nights for us too. The descriptions in the menu reminded me of Mom and Dad, and all the great pizzarias that North Jersey is famous for.

I ordered the "Love Boat" thin crust 16 inch Square Pizza. This features fresh mozzarella, cupped pepperoni, Pecorino Romano cheese, fresh basil, oregano, just the right amount of olive oil, really hone made tasting tomato sauce, and a touch of hot honey, on a wonderful thin crust. The combination of fresh ingredients was absolutely incredible! Before this, honey and pizza never were found in the same sentence or on my food! It was amazing!

To top it all off Jacey was the sweetest person to speak to on the phone and even made suggestions after I mentioned it was my first time ordering from Guido's, including which two pizza's I was considering! My complex is pretty easy to find, but finding my unit can be a little tricky. The Driver (donning his Eagle's gear, of course!) was here in a flash and never even called for specific directions! He was really personable and reminded me of my family! This entire experience was a slam-dunk, as far as I am concerned, and, though my parents have been gone since 2014, it brought back wonderful memories, as I still miss them very much. I will absolutely be ordering again and definitely try their hand crafted sandwiches, made with home made cutlets, roast pork, and of course a vast selection of cheese steaks!! You gotta try Guido's for yourself! You will not be...

Guido's Steaks in Bensalem, PA is an absolute must-visit for anyone looking for some of the best steaks and sandwiches in the area. The restaurant is located in a convenient spot, and the atmosphere is cozy and inviting. The staff is friendly and welcoming, always happy to help you find the perfect meal.

Guido's also has a great selection of sandwich options. They have a variety of different options, including cheesesteaks, burgers, and chicken sandwiches. But what stood out for me was the great selection of eggplant sandwiches. The eggplant was cooked perfectly and was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sandwich was topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese and was served on a fresh roll. It was a great combination of flavors and textures and was one of the best eggplant sandwiches I've had.

The sides at Guido's are also top-notch. The fries are crispy and well-seasoned, and the onion rings are thick and juicy. The portions were generous and left me feeling satisfied.

The service at Guido's is also top-notch. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, and they always go above and beyond to make sure that their customers are happy. They are always willing to make recommendations and help you find the perfect dish to suit your taste.

Overall, I highly recommend Guido's Steaks. The steaks are cooked to perfection, and the eggplant sandwiches are a must-try. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. I give Guido's a 5-star rating and I would definitely return to...

Let me preface this by saying I was showing up 15 - 20 mins before close. I hopped out of my car with it still on, poked my head in the door and asked if they knew a place to grab a good cheesesteak. I did tell them that at that hour I'm not going to make them cook as they are cleaning to close. The lady and gentleman both insisted I get one to take with me. They were both so kind and willing to help, and the kitchen staff, who out of sight, prepared me a monster of a cheesesteak also deserve praise.. As soon as my order was paid for, I said I had to run back to the car to check on my kid. Not even 3 minutes pass when they walk the sandwich out to me. They didn't have to. That was really nice.

So the sandwich was colossal i ordered the half and it feeds 2 people easily. the whole is 2 feet of sandwhich, feeds 4. The bread had a seeded top, the outer part was tough in a positive way, while the inner part was soft. This meant the sandwich wasn't going to leak and the bread was absorbing juices and cheese without losing any integrity. The meat was the shredded variation rather than sliced with strong and well seasoned flavor. You won't find any bite bland at all. Cheese I chose was wiz, hot and creamy. They definitely earned 5 stars.

I didn't love the sandwich, but objectively it's fantastic. My reason for not loving it is personal taste. The whole shredded meat vs sliced, the bread preferences, large onions vs small onions vs no onions.

Please don't sleep on this...

We set the theme for my daughter’s sweet 16 birthday party to be a ā€œtasteā€ of Philly with of course, various different foods from Philly. so We went and tasted numerous cheesesteak shops in Philadelphia Still not sure of who to choose from we were recommended to check out Guidos. It’s funny that a Steak Shop in Bensalem won the contest for our family. Guidos provided very good service to our family for the party because on the night of the party, the delivery came and here, it was a sandwich tray of cheesesteaks and chicken cheesesteaks. However, we ordered the cheesesteak meat and chicken cheesesteak meat tray because we also ordered rolls from Sarcones! So we called the restaurant to let them know and they said the mistake was on their end, and they said they would take care of it. Would you believe they had two trays at our party in less than 15 minutes that made many teenage boys very happy!! Would definitely recommend and buy from again!

First time at Guidos. A lot of options on the menu. I’ve had a ton of cheesesteaks in the Philly and surrounding areas. Guidos I would say is midpack. It’s good in a pinch. Got a cooper sharp and there wasn’t like a lot of cheese on the steak. Roll was pretty good though. I got the trio pizza. It’s like pesto vodka and regular sauce. It was actually surprisingly good. A very hearty pizza for 21 bucks. I have a ton of leftovers because it was heavy. Pretty good for a Sicilian. Atmosphere was average. I had a vanilla gift card I got for Christmas and I told them how much was on it and somehow they didn’t know how to let me pay with it. Kind of annoying. But the girls were nice otherwise and attentive. Overall 4/5 experience. Close to above average steak. Meat could have been a little more seasoned and little more cheese on the steak could have pushed this into that top tier conversation.
