I was thrilled to find this wonderful hair salon this week! I was very blessed for several decades to have my childhood best friend do my hair from rave perms in middle school till about 10 yrs ago when she decided to try another profession. Because she knew me, my hair, what I liked, for so long I was lost! Sure I tried MANY other salons in the last decade but they were insanly expensive( i have a lot of hair.I think its mostly grey now so need full color but also i love Lots of golden highlights.That with a cut can add up! And, these days with a adult son with special needs I feel guilty to splurge extra $ on myself. However, mom needs to feel good about herself.....so, i kept trying. jumping from salon to salon when i had enough $ ....often going way too long between cuts n colors. I can say with certainty- my hair was a disaster ( last color n full highlight of over 100 foils was in late june of 23) when i showed up at " Organic Hair Salon" my hair bad roots atleast 5 inches, the ends were so damaged from spending so much time in the sun without covering in any way, and looked gruly like the before girl on a before n after makeover😅 I went to Sharon who is SO kind, and calm- the kind of young lady who takes your blood pressure down just talking to her- nothing gets to her! I was immediatly comfortable in this salon. The owner was also very nice and did wonderful work too- as i sat and watched. What thrilled me is they use organic coloring! i had used organic coloring on my mom ( who had always used a box her entire 85 yrs but began haing very itchy scalp- after her dermatologist tried everything topical- as did i - she suggested ppd & amonia free hair coloring) so, i bought her some st Sally and could not believe how shiny with demension and long lasting it was! everthing i had assumed to be the opposite) Ever since-i have been anxious to try it! So, when i saw the advertisment for this place in Bristol i knew i had to call ( make sure i could afford it& get in before xmas parties) and i know it was fate! The salon is intimate, clean, adorable. The stylists give great care to everyone in their chairs hair as well as make them feel comfortable!( no snottyness here) even the clients will chat to each other & even they are so nice and some come miles from all over bucks, phila and other nearby counties. The prices are so fair for all i had done. i cant rave enough! And my color came out beautiful for my 1st time not using the heavy bleach highlights and ppd amonia free organic coloring! Im looking forward to having healthy hair again ( one shop i used - i had great results till i noticed they burnt off an inch of my hair going from ear to ear underneath! Horrible! Received a Groupon for a full keratin from my husband for Mother's Day and when I went in and said I need my color done first they refused to do it saying you can't get color and keratin done the same day. I told them that's completely not true and that all the research recommends you do them the same day doing the color first so it doesn't strip the keratin. not to mention This is not my first time getting a keratin done with color. It was never an issue! I even had it done BY THEM only a year before now suddenly it's not acceptable! They were so rude and talking about me among themselves as if I couldn't hear them. Love how cute this place is decorated, not to mention the really nice jewelry they have for sale. Some unique pieces. Most importantly my hair experience was wonderful, so friendly and kind.
