Raine’s Restaurant — Restaurant in Bensalem Township

I was there this morning for a late breakfast, with my husband and daughter. I must say the food I got was terrific and I was literally telling my husband it was the best wrap I’ve had in a long time... until I found a hair in it. Now, I completely am understanding to the fact that hey, things sometimes end up in places that they shouldn’t be, and I would even go as far as saying if that was the end of my charade, I wouldn’t be writing a negative review. However, with that being said ~ when I presented it to our waitress she literally then went back and forth with me regarding the hair I found.. to the point of where I looked at my husband and said “okay, she apparently thinks I’m lying, please take care of this”. She suggested it was a pet hair, when I don’t have any pets...said that it was impossible that it could have been in my food. Followed up by “what do you want me to do about it”.. when like I stated above, things happen. I just wanted her to be aware of it so maybe I could have my food remade, because I couldn’t finish it after that. Then she proceeded to not tell any manager (assuming this because she walked right over to the register..) and took two dollars off of my check which really just felt like a cold slap in the face. As someone who is in food service management, I would have personally handled it differently as I understand the power of word of mouth.. Several times that I been here and it’s only because of the convenience of being around the corner from my house, I have noticed numerous times that the waitresses wait on their regulars and pay no mind to others who are not regulars!!!! I am going to look for another place that’s convenient as I don’t like the service of being a nobody compared to their regulars!!!! Today I came in. I sat down and was waiting for the waitress to come and take my order two other people that came in after me sat down, and the waitresses went and waited on them. I had to keep turning around and looking to see like am I gonna get my order taken and then finally One of the waitress came up and took my order !One time I ordered eggs Benedict and found a longggg hair in my Eggs Benedict and the owner made me a new platter which she should have done along with giving me the courtesy of not charging me for my breakfast!!! Rude service!!!! My daughter, sister-in-law and I went on Black Friday and surprisingly there were only a couple of people there at 10:00am. We were told to sit where we wanted. So we sat near the door but noticed it was chilly, like the heat was not on and when someone walked out we felt a breeze. So we decided to move to the back of the restaurant. No sooner than my daughter sat down a lady cleaning of a table rudely told my daughter “You can’t sit there that table hasn’t been cleaned “ but it wasn’t what she said, but in the manner it was said. So we moved to another table and she ignorantly said it again. As we walked back to where we were, we decided to walked out instead .
