Exquisite Eats — Restaurant in Berkeley

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!! BUYER BEWARE!! I have only been able to successfully order from this establishment ONCE in two months by way of UberEats and going in person. The hours are never correct on the app and they do not match the hours that are displayed on Google. Fix it. It’s beyond comprehension how you have listed hours that your business is open that YOU set and yet it’s closed during those said hours. I have never known a restaurant to post business hours and literally have the restaurant closed during those hours. It’s almost as if there was someone with a gun in the owners back forcing them to make these listed hours against their will because what other reason would there be that you can’t operate during the listed hours you say you’re open???? Freaking Ridiculous. I even went in person once during hours they said they were OPEN and yet the doors were locked and the lights turned off. Y’all do not have bad food but how is anyone supposed to order anything if your hours aren’t correct.. Yall must not want any money. This restaurant also has multiple profiles on food delivery apps. Do not be deceived by this. And another thing. This restaurant will accept your order and take your money knowing full well they are closed. “Support Black Businesses” Yeah I’m all for supporting black businesses being that I’m a black woman but it is ALWAYS and i mean ALWAYS some BS one way or another. Save your money and your time and order from better places that actually care about...

The food looks really good but it’s impossible to order from here. They have multiple doordash restaurant profiles, some will be open when they’re closed, the store will randomly close on doordash, they’ll be labelled as open on both google and doordash but still be closed. It’s become really frustrating trying to order from here because they have no consistency in hours. I just tried ordering, for the FIFTH time, through DoorDash. The the store was said to be open until 11pm, but when I ordered, the store had closed within 15 minutes. I have no interest in trying to order from this place in the future since it’s just been overall fairly unprofessional. The store owner has offered people with similar complaints as me $20 off fir the next meal, but that’s only if you come in when they’re open, and the issue is that it’s hard to find when their open and when I’m eating out it’s because I’m ordering delivery. I’m sure that applies to many other people who have complained about this issue as well. I truly hope their hours can be better and better communicated in the future, as i would’ve loved to give business to them, but I’ve been disappointed everytime my dasher has gone to pick up the order but had to tell me they...

I ordered the shrimp pasta and Gumbo. When I got to my car the food was smelling so good, it was hard waiting until I got home. When I got home to taste it was more than I was expecting. The portion size was excellent, I could not eat all the pasta in one setting and the taste was exceptional. The shrimp were meaty. I also ordered a lobster tail on the side. It was delicious. That gumbo was on point. You will not be disappointed us all i can say. I will be returning and sharing...
