The Coffee Vault — Restaurant in Berkshire Township

The Coffee Vault is one of those places that feels like it came straight out of a movie. Gorgeous decoration, the woodwork is especially stunning, in a beautiful historical building. Comfortable couch and chairs around a fireplace downstairs along with several tables inside and out and a large table in the old bank vault.

Fantastic coffee, hot or cold (tea, smoothies- really you can't go wrong), fresh baked items, breakfast and lunch sandwiches. Service is always quick and personable. It's one of those places you want to tell everyone about but also tell no one about at the same time, it's quickly becoming a not quite so hidden gem! Definitely a great addition to the square. Love this place! Excellent service, food, and coffee. If I could change one thing it would be that they would serve coffee in mugs for people who weren't taking it to go. (edit: Turns out they do have mugs, but their staff is not trained to interpret "I would like this for here" to mean, please use a mug)

I ordered a BLT with mayo and the bread had the perfect level of crispyness. My girlfriend got the cinnamon raisin bagel and found it to be a standard bagel and was happily surprised the cream cheese spread really well. Her chai latte had lots of chai and tasted wonderful.

I stumbled into this cute little coffee shop for the first time today. A re-vamped historical bank with a cute character. A good selection of drinks and snacks at fair prices. People are finding them; traffic has been steadily increasing since they opened in March. The basement is a clean, dry, "living room" atmosphere with a comfy couch, chair, warm fireplace, and coffee table with enough room for 4-5 people to warmly converse.
