Hunan — Restaurant in Bernards Township

Let me just say I love takeout/delivery Chinese food. I ordered for lunch while out of town for work. They said it would take 40 minutes. 50 minutes passes by and they did not call. I called and they said the delivery driver is on his way. I go to my hotel lobby, and another 15 minutes passes by so I called back. They tell me it's going to be another 10 minutes and they'll call the driver. I continue to wait in the lobby and the 10 minutes passes by and still no phone call or food. I call once again and they only offer to call the driver (which they were already supposed to do) and I asked for 1/2 off as it's been an extremely long time and they didn't even have the courtesy to call me and they said no we can only give 20%. I was extremely upset and said this crazy, it would have been fine if you wouldn't have kept telling me it'll be there soon. They then offered 30% off and then hang up on me. FINALLY the food arrives and the driver does not even apologize and only gives me 30% off my bill ($5). I take it to my room and the food is room temp with mushy rice, the "spicy" general tso's chicken is sweet and not crispy, and my bottle of water is warm.

Never experienced anything like this and the food ended up...

Went there to grab lunch ( only have 30 minutes ) took 15 minutes to get my food so I knew I would have to eat fast but I was grateful nonetheless . However then I get back to work just to see some random stuff in my lunch platter when I specifically said chicken Lo-mein they gave me chow mein, never had that never want to the look was unappetizing. Then I went to eat my shrimp egg roll and there was ONE piece of shrimp in the bottom of the egg roll. So I called asked if tommorow I can get the correct order I was even willing to pay half ( even though I didn’t eat what they gave me and was charged a 1$ extra because my order wasn’t 10$ ) and he said unless I bring it back today he can’t do anything . Long story short wasted my lunch my time and my money, I’ll never revisit...

While the food is somewhat passable, the caucasian girl at the register has to be one of the rudest and most unfriendly people I've ever come across. Horrible customer service experience. We go there every few months when visiting a friend in the area and every time we order, she gives back nothing but attitude. I had ordered the C6 combo which is prepared with chicken or pork. She apparently didn't listen or just didn't care because what I got was a lousy version of chicken, not the pork I had ordered (circled the pork on the menu). I made the mistake of not checking before we left but I'm sure I would have gotten attitude if I pointed out the error. Now that the Caucasian girl is gone, we’ll be frequenting this...
