Joyful Brews Drive Thru — Restaurant in Berthoud

I love Jo to Go and the fact that you can get a customized drink for the same price as a drink on the menu is awesome, because Starbucks used to encourage customization but they definitely don't anymore. I mean Starbucks tried to charge me $9 for a latte and it wasn't extra pumps it was just different pumps and they were like we have to do for our ordering purposes. Like you HAVE to charge me $9 for a latte?!! I don't think so lol. But Jo to Go costs $5.32 and I make my own toasted marshmallow with white mocha. The same drink at Starbucks would probably be over $7 because I'm trying to customize by doing half white mocha and half marshmallow even though it's the same drink with the same pumps at both places. Also if you actually live around here you're driving pretty far to go to a Starbucks vs. Jo to Go is right there. And I love their sweet messages that they write on the cups. Absolutely love this local coffee shop. I typically enjoy sweeter coffee drinks and this drive-thru spot provides some of the best flavors, my personal favorites are the ditch driver and the sea turtle. I also really like their almond cherry scone and their peanut butter cookies, when they have them. The staff is super friendly and I love how they have a punch card system where after 10 drinks you get a free drink. They also have really good shakes that you can get in their flavors. This is definitely a must-go if you are fond of Starbucks.l and their cold coffee shakes are way better than Starbucks...

I had never been to this coffee shop before, Sunday my car broke down and I limped into the parking lot. After being there awhile I decided to try something cold as it was a really hot day. Much to my surprise the staff asked about my car and then proceeded to comp my drink!
